Our story was inspired by the need of something special, unique, and full of love. Our journey started in an Austin, TX apartment selling out of our vehicle. Fast forward 2 years and now we’ve expanded to three wonderful locations in South Texas! Our main goal is to have you enjoy your fast-casual dining experience. With a variety of our Mexi-Cali Burritos, Cali-Style Tacos, and Unorthodox menu choices, to our 90s decor, you’ll have to experience Tingy for yourself!

I’ve grown tired of same ole restaurants around Weslaco and noticed a new restaurant not too far from where I live. Recently noticed advertisements on the internet for Birria Tacos. It just so happens that Tingy has it on their menu. It had an interesting flavor. I thought the corn tortillas would be like your typical home made crispy corn tortillas and it wasn’t quite like that. The meat tasted like not too oily barbacoa. It was pretty good, just not delicious.

The food was bomb. I ordered the birria tacos and my husband ordered the birria burrito so we could try both. It was delicious! The service was also great. They were so friendly. The only thing I didn’t like is the parking situation. It had rained the day before and the parking lot was so muddy and full of holes. Wish they could pave the parking lot!

This is the worst Tingy of the valley. Don’t waste your time here. I went Friday about 730 and was served my cold Burrito an hour later. My wife’s Ramen with Birrea was also cold and without Birrea meat. The worst thing of all was our waiter. This guy does not now his job at all and we saw him poke his nose and serve some people. The owner needs to be there because there was no structure at all here. They don’t even deserve one star but we can’t put negative stars.

Food was great and wait staff was attentive.. Did wait a bit for food, but they just opened and food is made to order. Some items were out, but we were told they ran out, they looked pretty busy. I’d definitely go again.
