Atmosphere was great! We love sitting outside on the water. Service was good. Margaritas were fab! But my food…No one should consume the amount of grease I had on my tacos. Holy cow! I only had two bites and the rest was thrown out. So disappointing. I want to love this place but the food was just nasty as hell. We have been here twice so far and my food was terrible the first time too but I don’t feel places should be judged after only one visit. But now two times?..no thanks. We will come to have drinks but never for the food now.

Service was slow but very nice. Food was decent, but not as good as we expected for the price. Beautiful outdoor dining area viewing the lake. Cleanish. Table was not wiped down after being cleared. Would say it was from a party of 4 that left, but stuff was really dried on there when server tried to wipe down – not to mention the trash on the deck…good. probably will go back, but probably will not become a go to place for us.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, one is immediately captivated by the serene beauty of the lake it overlooks. The shimmering waters reflecting the sun’s glow, the tranquility of the setting, all promise an experience that could have been so memorable. Unfortunately, this potential is starkly contrasted by the less than stellar experience that awaits within.

We have visited this lovely restaurant twice and both times had a very pleasant experience. The desserts and drinks we had delicious. Our grandkids really enjoyed the fried ice cream.

Not a good experience. I can’t understand all the good reviews unless people have never had good Mexican food before. Overall, just ok but the ‘ok’ part is mostly bc of the nice views of the lake. Food is not good. $11 for a margarita served in a plastic cup on the rocks. Must pay for chips and salsa, have never seen that at a Mexican restaurant. Guacamole was terrible. $13 for shrimp taco dinner would be reasonable, except these tacos each had only 4 very small shrimp. They looked like full tacos but once I starting eating I realized it was all cole slaw. Had to dig through to find any shrimp. Rice was not homemade, definitely not authentic, tasted like the stuff out of a box. I guess if there is nowhere else to eat and you’re looking for a nice view this would be ok, just keep in mind you’ll be disappointed. Service left much to be desired. Server rude, my husband asked a question which I guess was already answered on the menu but he didn’t see it and she pretty said he couldn’t read. Also, never offered us second drinks on a 90 degree day. By the way, they were not busy so this couldn’t be used as an excuse. Disappointed for what we paid. Photo below to show size of shrimp. Additionally, parking is across the street, where cars fly around a curve and this is very dangerous. If you are handicap or have small children, please proceed with caution.

The service was fantastic! You could definitely tell they were a little short staffed and had been slammed all day- we went during the 4th weekend so we did expect that. However, our server was friendly and efficient. And the food was good! Also highly recommend the Sangria frozen slushee (shown below). Note: parking can be a little crazy but the boat slips were available!!
