I have been really tired of the boring Mexican food choices for awhile. Until this one. First time and loved it. Not your regular boring Mexican restaurant. Food was Great and lots of different choices!! Service was Great, very nice and attentive!! Atmosphere was Nice!! I’m not a drinker but the bar looked Amazing, thought about getting a sweet cocktail. I can’t wait to go back, and maybe try a cocktail.

I really enjoyed my visit to Mezcalito and was very pleasantly surprised by a menu of great dishes, unlike the so-so average menu fare at other local places in the area. The drinks/beverage menu was extensive and sophisticated and the bar area had plenty of seating for those popping in for a drink.

Always a great experience! The food is great, the drinks are strong & the service is top notch. We’ve only ever sat at the bar so I can’t speak to the table service but the bartender is always very attentive. 10/10!

DOMINIQUE, DOMINIQUE, DOMINIQUE!!!! What can I say? She is THE BEST server I’ve ever had! Not only was she kind, she was funny and super knowledgeable about the items on the menu! We went for my birthday, she suggested the Ultimate ACP and I had the 40oz Watermelon Margarita! I never had either before and those suggestions were second to none. I also love how I NEVER had to ask for a refill on my drink and chips. She just always knew what we needed! You would’ve thought that she had only our table but she didn’t she had 4 other parties. Thank you so much!!! I’ll definitely be back and ONLY asking for her!

Summer Time (Summertime)
I write this review with the hope and intention that it will invoke change. The Henderson location started out really well. Now some of the waitresses are now Managers and do not handle conflicts very well. For example, if the Fish Fillet dish is salty, please do not get an attitude as if I’m attacking you personally. I have always ordered the Lemon Fish Fillet and the last 2 times that I’ve gotten it, it has been EXTREMELY salty. And when I shared my concern with the waitress/Manager – they become defensive and get a attitude. I’m so confused, why anyone would get upset over something so minor. Additionally, she took the dish away and pretended as though they remade the Lemon Fish Fillet, only to give us the same exact dish!!! This along with other reasons (bad attitudes from waitresses) is why I will no longer patronize this establishment. They started out good, but are quickly falling downward fast.

Make the drive to Clayton! Two totally different experiences from food to service. My chorizo wasn’t even fully cooked, let alone the cheese not being melted. The food came before my drink because the waitress was too busy outside.
