Star of India is really hit or miss. I’ve had amazing butter chicken there when I’ve ordered take out, but sitting in the restaurant I’ve always had pretty lackluster food. Their tea is amazing though and theor naan is quite good.

This used to be my favorite Indian restaurant in town, but not anymore. I’m not sure what happened to them, but the customer service that I recieved over the phone was absolutely terrible. I know it wasn’t the language barrier. I was asking to accommodate one of the dishes for me, instead of meat for just veggies, which they have done for me in the past (multiple times). This time with no expanation the lady said they can’t do that. Ok, fine, after talking back and forth I said then I’ll just order it with meat. Well, when my boyfriend went to pick up our order, they haven’t even included that dish. Next time we will take our business somewhere else where we don’t have to feel like a burden and have to wait extra time because of their mistakes.
