I should have known when it was empty at 5pm, but I always liked James Gang so I figured I’d try. I like the new look. The crust was good. The sauce is similar to old James Gang but im not sure what’s wrong with the cheese. It seems like it’s either skim milk cheese or it’s been frozen. Either way it tastes funny.

Ordered from Verona tonight. We ordered the mozzarella sticks, cheese garlic bread, a cheese pizza, steak and cheese Stromboli, and a side salad. The mozzarella sticks tasted like they came out of the freezer. The garlic bread tasted exactly the same as the garlic bread you’d make in a microwave, and I’m pretty sure that’s where it was cooked. The pizza was so bad my six year old wouldn’t eat it. But the kicker is instead of a steak Stromboli we got a calzone filled with ground meat and unmelted cheese. The meat was clearly from a sack in a freezer because it was a puddle of grease on the undercooked bottom of the calzone. Absolutely revolting and wouldn’t have been worth it at half the price.

We got the mozzarella sticks and the Ny style Got no time for trouble pizza minus the black olives and I’m so sad I didn’t get a picture of that delicious pizza. It was loaded with toppings and they don’t overload it with sauce. The mozzarella sticks were nice and crisp on the outside and the marinara sauce was delicious. We will definitely be returning.

Pizza was very good. Soft crust. The kind of pizza you almost want to eat backwards! We had the cheese fries and those were OK. My daughter had the ham and cheese and she liked it too. The pizza was the standout to me.
