Took over a hour to get the food. I asked can I get it to go since my kid got off work .. I ordered a chicken fajita quesadilla and I got just chicken and cheese. Called up there and they told me if I wanted peppers it would cost me about 4 dollars. So my point is why call is fajita if it gets no peppers.. I clearly read the menu and didn’t get what I ordered. I will never be back to this place. We come here at least twice a month.

This is a great place. They are always friendly. Always clean and reasonably price. Me and my family go quite often. They know us and as soon as we walk in the say hi and ask how we’re doing or if we don’t have the kids They say oh you guys didn’t bring the kiddos. Great people

The food was great, the service was really good. There was a leak in the ceiling at the table next to us, and there was a constant drip from a water saturated ceiling tile. Hopefully, it gets fixed quickly.

I absolutely loved this place. My boyfriend and I went here a few times and they serve amazing foods and drinks. People there was also really nice and sweet too. Not sure why this place has such high ratings, but I’ve never had such bland food before at a Mexican restaurant. I only had a traditional quesadilla, but I’ve had tastier quesadillas at Taco Bell. My wife had a chicken dish that other than the salt, also had no flavor. She also had the sangria, but took one sip and said it was truly awful. So we won’t be back.

Best margaritas hands down . Maria is an awesome hostess and server. Carne asada was on point and unexpectedly good for a small town like Alton. They’ve definitely embraced Hispanic culture with authentic choices along with “the usual” will be back no doubt.

Friendly owner – came over and spoke to us. Food was very tasty. Service was prompt. I love the chips and salsa—my all time favorite part. Would definitely eat here again with my family when in Alton, IL! I know this is my go to Mexican Restaurant! 🙂
