The food is great, but they have a somewhat limited menu. With that said, what they have is delicious and reasonably priced. Their specialty fries are fantastic (but a slightly bigger portion wouldn’t be a bad thing). We’ve never had a bad experience with any of their menu items, including dessert.

I stopped by Lacey’s for the second time yesterday and had a great experience, the same as the last time I was here! The service is excellent and all staff are very friendly. Last time I had the meatloaf and it was great, this time I tried the fish tacos and they were delicious! The Tilapia had a thin, crispy and flavorful crust. I am excited to come back to Lacey’s next time I am in town.

I have been hesitant about writing Lacey’s review. It’s been about a month since we were here. The memory hasn’t faded a bit. We actually still compare meals to them. It’s not in a good way, however. As everyone knows we are looking for property and we’ve made the trip to Kenyon or surrounding areas several times looking for that special place. So this time we stopped in town and we were going to go to the VFW since we’re both veterans, instead we decided on Laceys. First and foremost, it’s Kenyon Minnesota. That’s not to say Kenyon can’t have a higher scaled restaurant. It’s just, in my opinion not going to be found at Laceys. The 2 stars were for their cucumber vodka drink ( I was whooping it up and had one!) and our waiter, Eddison or Addison. He did speak softly and with the loud music/tv I really couldn’t make out everything he said. But he did say Lacey kinda looked like his own dad. So Dorian had some burger, I had a crossaint BLT. We shared fries and onion rings.

I’ve eaten here several times and I never have any complaints. There’s great food, great drinks, and amazing service. I’ve had pretty much everything on the menu and it’s all good. I highly recommend stopping by if you’re near Kenyon.

Our server was great! Nicely remodeled classic old building. Food was okay. Had meatloaf commercial, was a slice of Texas toast with some mashed potatoes on top and a seasoned hamburger patty on top that had been dipped in a tomato sauce, brown gravy over it all!
