Going for breakfast at breakfast time. Suzie’s is the place you want to be. The restaurant is on statefair Blvd just west of the fair grounds here in Syracuse. My wife had the eggs Benedict and said it was awesome. Myself, I had an egg breakfast sandwich which was cooked to perfection. With coffee, home fries and an egg sandwich, it came to around 12 dollars. With this and my wife’s eggs Benedict, we spent less than 24 dollars. Not bad for two people. The atmosphere is quiet and homey, clean and pleasant. Parking is right next to the restaurant. The service is top notch. I highly recommend that everyone give them a try, you will not be disappointed.

I’ve had breakfast, lunch and dinner here, always good. There are locals that come in here all day long. The wait staff is friendly to everyone, food is always good and up to par. Prices are very reasonable. If you order coffee, you never have to wait long for a refill. Everything in a diner a hungry person is looking for.

I was looking for something affordable and filling. Stumbled upon this diner and got exactly what I was looking for. The atmosphere is very small town and friendly. It’s definitely got a retro vibe going on. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The food was delicious and filling. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with fries. Everything tasted fresh and loved that they didn’t hold back on the boom boom sauce. I’ve always loved diners and this one is definitely at the top of my list. My bill came out to about $12 with my soda. (Free refills by the way)

So the place looks like it would have amazing food. I love the decor and the little cute Diner appeal. But when the drinks and food came out it was very disappointing. It says all over the menu that the corned beef hash is homemade but it’s clearly from a can and they definitely had cans of corned beef on a shelf in the kitchen that you can look in through window. And if you see in my other reviews I definitely know my homemade corned beef and love it. The toast was nothing special and everybody knows how to flip an egg or two. I ordered an orange juice and it was a child size at an adult price. Meh most likely wouldn’t return.

Suzie’s is your classic short order restaurant that has all the fixings. My favorite is their corn beef hash and eggs. Stellar breakfast menu and dynamite daily specials. My kids love their heaps of whip cream on top of their chocolate chip pancakes.
