First time ever here and I enjoyed it very much! They have a thing called a Tray.. Pick one main entree, two sides, and a drink for $6.99. Great value with many good options. I chose the double burger with cheese as my entree. Corn dog and nuggets as my side item with a huge tea, it’s sweet tea of course. I enjoyed every bite of all three items. Also got a second tray with a bbq sandwich, cheese nuggets, and chicken wrap with ranch. Loved all three as well. I can’t wait to go back and try other food items. Great food and great value. I stopped by today 3/28/23 to get what appeared to be an ad on the outside street sign reading 2 chili dogs with homemade chili. I asked the manager if it was the special of the day and he said no and was actually surprised it was on there. He said you can certainly order it but the sides and drink would be extra. I said never mind I’ll just have the $6.99 everyday double cheeseburger special if it comes with the beverage. He said sure but if you want cheese on the burger it’ll be extra and also it only comes with a regular size beverage but if you want to upgrade to a large then it’ll be extra. I said okay the regular size beverage is fine but can you put lettuce, tomato and onions on the burger? He replied oh sure but it’s gonna be extra! What’s next? Are the 2 go bags, napkins and the beverage container also going to be extra? Needless to say I walked out and had lunch at the local Burger King where you can get a burger made your way at no extra charge! Unbelievable to say the least! This was my first and last stop at the Cookout stores!!

On 5/14, between 3 – 4:00, I approached the drive-thru. There was a hand written sign that was poorly taped and it was blown over to where the message was not readable. Assuming that the speaker was out of order, I proceeded to the window. I was met by a disgruntled dingy male worker that said “some people are unable to read.”
