Our first visit to The Hawke was on “All You Can Eat Crab” night and we weren’t disappointed. I would suggest making reservations because we were seated immediately upon arrival,, thanks to our reservation. For obvious reasons, it is a very busy night. Our order included a salad, bread, Old Bay seasoned french fries, an ear of corn, and three giant Dungeness crab halves. Do yourself a favor and be skimpy on the french fries and corn so you have more room for the crab.

Very nice atmosphere and vibe. All you can eat dungeness crab legs on Mondays. Restaurant got really busy around 6pm but still a nice vibe. Food was really good. Lamb chops were smaller then normal but overall, food was good. Waiter was great. It was my birthday and they gave me a free drink. I will definitely be returning for all you can eat crabs.

Good food and the restaurant was packed, so it was loud and maybe a bit too crammed. The only real negative though was my credit card was charged twice, once with the tip added and once without (which would normally drop off but didn’t.)

The food was good but what made our visit to the Hawke wonderful was our server Tye. He was very personable, welcoming, attentive, articulate, intelligent and informative. For us, the quality of food means a great deal but it pales in comparison to how much we value customer service. After all, what good is a great tasting meal if the service is terrible?? That said, Tye was great. He really made the evening wonderful for us.

This is one of my favorite dining places anywhere. Food is excellent, the outdoor dining area has great atmosphere. The wait staff works together and are friendly and accommodating. Nothing I’ve had here disappoints time and time again. I highly recommend the steak, and the salmon. Great place I will visit again and again.

We had reservations, which I highly recommend, so got seated immediately. Our service started out well with appetizers and drinks. But then our order didn’t get put in right away so we ended up waiting a long time for dinner. Food was ok when it got there. But, again, we had issues with the order. We had 3 of 4 people with various dietary restrictions but there were options on the menu so that was nice. It was our first time but there were a lot of people so it was clearly popular. Portions are huge. Definitely on the expensive side.
