They didn’t get the order right. I ordered sausage egg mcmuffin with no sausage and they didn’t include the egg, just English muffin and cheese. I ordered on their in store app, so they couldn’t say they didn’t understand. Added one star because staff was nice and they got the coffee and no sausage right. Gave me wrong order, though.

Shout out to the McDonald’s team employees in Island Lake. This is hands-down the best McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. I always order a specific number sauces with my meal (ranch, etc.), and every single time it’s all in my bag. I never have to double-check my bag at this location. Also, my food is always hot and fresh & the employees are always polite and execute great customer service. My favorite McDonald’s location by far.

I stopped here to grab lunch for my kids a few days ago. Overall I was happy with my experience here. The location is a little inconvenient to get to if you’re not making a right turn to turn into the lot, but that’s not their fault so I didn’t change my rating for that. The restaurant was clean and the food was fresh. It did take a while to get our order but I was happy that it was freshly made and they got our order correct. My kids loved the playplace. It’s very modern and unlike most other playplaces I’ve seen, so my kids were really excited about that. The play area was clean as well. I’ll definitely bring my kids back here to eat and play again soon.
