Is it worth losing loyal customers over a melted banana split that you simply could’ve just remade without the sauce that melts everything? “That’s the way DQ makes them”. And “you picked up it 20min ago” which isn’t true—prove it. It was melted the moment I opened the plastic container it comes in to keep everything in. I tried to share it with my kids but it was a complete mess spilling out of the container. The other ice cream was great—blizzard was on point and cones stayed up without melting. They also ask for tip on their receipts which implies some kind of customer service which lacked today. Our 3 kids are sad we won’t be frequenting anymore after not feeling like worthy customers.

I get that places are short staffed, but this place is just insane. I went into the drive thru because I wanted a $6 meal and there was one car in front of me to order. 20 minutes. I had to wait 20 minutes to get my food after I placed me order. Can you even consider yourself fast food at that point. I pull up to the window and see that there’s one person running, presenting the food, and taking payments. I felt bad for them because I’ve been there and know how stressful that can be. I give them my card, and get the card and receipt handed back to me. 8¢. They charged me 8¢ for the bag my food came in. I’m not going to cry about 8¢ but IF YOU HAVE ME WAIT 20 MINUTES FOR FOOD THEN HAVE THE AUDACITY TO CHARGE ME 8¢ FOR A BAG IMMA NOT BE HAPPY. So I did the only reasonable thing I could and didn’t say anything to the worker as I drove away, robbed of my time & 8¢. Idk who you are, but if you’re a billion dollar company and you’re charging 8¢ for bags, you’ve messed up somewhere. Tomorrow I’m going back and asking for no bag. I just want to see what happens but you can’t be having a non-negotiable 8¢ for a bag on already overpriced fast food. I could have gotten the same thing (a fudge sundae and a cheeseburger) from McDonald’s for $6.06 after tax and had it out in under 2 minutes versus the $6.72 these people charged.

I ordered in the restaurant an overly priced crispy chicken sandwich. The wait time for my sandwich was 11 minutes. Incredibly slow being that I was the only one inside that ordered and the majority of the orders coming and going for the drive thru were Blizzards.

My visit here today was through the drive-through which was easy, I was able to order what I wanted fairly quickly and within a couple mins it was made and handed to me in the DQ fashion flipped upside down first to show its a thick Blizzard.

Ordered food and when we get to the window gave the debit card to a blond girl to pay. With the debit card in hand she asks, “Would you like to leave a tip?” Hahaha! A tip for doing her job at the drive thru window… I don’t think so! NEVER been solicited for tips from a fast food worker. She kept the card and did not give it back instead walked out of sight for a moment. Sketchy AF!
