It’s my first time coming here and I enjoyed it. Food was good and so was my drink, although I forgot the name of it. I think my only issue was that the pulled pork was served on the paper placemat that was on the tray rather than a container of its own. Either way the pulled pork was good, just would’ve preferred it not being served on the place mat since it gets pretty messy. I’d still go back though.

Stopped in on a cool Friday night for some outdoor BBQ left wishing that everything was more polished. Ordering the same drink from two different bartenders resulted in two wildly different drinks neither of which seemed to be what was on the menu. Brisket was very fatty and while its great that it wasn’t dry it felt like getting short changed. Fried chicken was great( the 4 piece) while the fried chicken sandwich was just fine. Mac and cheese and cornbread were also just fine. Street corn had fennel seed in the seasoning for some reason and was not enjoyable. Tomatoes in the feta salad were really soggy. Feels like it has a lot of things going for it but needs to be fine tuned to be a really great welcoming experience. Space is huge there’s no reason why this place shouldn’t be a huge hit in Montclair. Good luck and I hope you get it ironed out! I’ll check back in a few weeks/months to see how it’s going !

Good BBQ and fun environment! I’ve come here on several occasions and enjoyed the over all vibe and food. The pulled pork is my favorite. I also love bringing my pup and hanging outside in the beer garden area.

People rightly go for solid bbq (love the brisket!). But don’t sleep on the killer wedge salad and outstanding burgers! Also perhaps the most interesting selection of draft beers around. Really fun when they have outdoor music.

Sad to say that this has to be the worst food I’ve had in a long time. The Mac and cheese was bad, no flavor at all. The cornbread was dry like sandpaper and if not careful you could prob choke on it. The pork sausage was nothing but salty. The brisket was meh. The ribs were lacking flavor. In general this food was a big fat NO. We’ll def not go back. Unless there’s a good game on…the ambiance is cool for that. As for the wait staff and customer service…no one greets you, the woman at the order counter knows nothing about the items when asked questions, and they come take your tray away without asking if you’ve finished eating…poor experience overall. Total waste of $69 dollars. Because of what we paid we forced ourselves to finish as much of it as we could stomach.

I did not have high expectations when I visited yesterday. I was concerned that this restaurant might just be a gimmicky Montclair thing, but it was fine. I had a 1/2 pound serving of brisket with fries and my wife had the pulled pork sandwich with a wedge salad. We both enjoyed our meals. The cornbread is nice: not too sweet or moist or crumbley. The draft beer selection was good. The old brick train station building is beautiful, but I wonder how the acoustics are when it’s really crowded or when a band is playing. I’m sure I’ll be back to find out.

Love this place! Great place to have some fantastic BBQ. Make sure to go when they have live music as it takes this it to another level! Kid friendly as well with Foosball and other games available for the kiddos to occupy themselves with.

Food and entertainment selection here are great but I cannot believe how steep the prices are for a double Casamigos. 32$ for a single drink??? I might as well go to NYC and have a better experience. Never drinking here again. What a rip off.
