If you’re in the mood for Korean noodle soup, look no further than Youngwol Noodle. Located in a nondescript strip mall in Federal Way, and family owned for 10+ years, it’s safe to say that their long experience is self evident in the awesome deliciousness coming out of the kitchen. The service is attentive, informative, and warm…an absolute bonus!

This is a true hole in the wall gem. I was delighted to find a Kalguksu spot albeit it was a drive from Ballard. So worth it! The barley rice and pumpkin soup to start were amazing. The side dishes were all stellar. We ordered 3 different entrees and each were delicious!! I’ll be back for sure again next time I’m in Seattle!

Wonderfully kind service, 2 kinds of in-house kimchi, and delicious pumpkin soup with every entree. The barley tea was the cherry on top! I left feeling like I was on cloud 9.

I enjoyed the food a lot and felt very comforting. Did not rate five stars because of the price. I like how different their menu items are compared to other typical Korean restaurants. The pork belly with vegi wraps is full of texture. First time I had sujebi (flour flake soup) and I like how chewy it is. Definitely something I will make at home.

I was told this place was “authentic’. I haven’t been to Korea–but I imagine authentic is accurate. The food was very flavorful. Mine was boiling hot (literally boiling as served) and though I asked for medium spicy–it was pretty dang spicy.

Fast service. Seafood pancake was delicious. Spicy pork bulgogi and rice flake kimchi soup were ok. A bit disappointed that there were only side dishes of kimchi and pumpkin soup (sweet). I guess I’m used to seeing 5-6 side dishes when I go to Korean restaurants.

best sujebi noodle soup here. love that they also give you the barley rice and pumpkin soup as sides. the soybean cold noodle is good but i’m not used to the green noodles. it’s also quite pricey than other places for what you get compared to other koran restaurants here..

Soul-satisfying, homestyle, made-from-scratch Korean food. It doesn’t get much better than this in the US. Efficient and friendly service in a relaxing environment.

The noodles and vibe inside almost brought tears to my eyes, transporting me back to dining with my grandparents in Korea – it’s that authentic. Hands down the best kalguksu and kongguksu I’ve had outside Korea. The hot tea, barley rice and pumpkin porridge that comes with the meal is the chef’s kiss. Wow!!! I would 110% come back to try everything else on the menu, which looked incredible. Can’t emphasize enough how legit this place is.
