Absolutely fantastic and a fast family favorite! If you’re looking for that more authentic version of Mexican food in Forest Grove, this is a place you got to try! The owner and staff are fantastic and friendly and the specials on drinks and desserts are reason enough to pop in to see what you’re missing. Live music on the weekends and the bar is making tasty cocktails. Accessibility is easy enough, little tight but space and movement should be manageable if using an assistance mobility device.

Food comes in large portions. However, Meat was a little scarce in the entrees and burritos. We had a large party and they opened up the party room to accommodate us. Owner was very kind to also fry up some churros as dessert for our family. Great service and atmosphere. We would go back for the good fun.

It was a blessing to end up staying above this restaurant. The food is good (the birria tacos are on par with others I’ve had but the consume for dipping was the best by an order of magnitude). The drinks were stiff. The salsa was spicy. But the best thing was the service. The hostess was so welcoming that after our third visit we got hugs. I would go out of my way to visit Forest Grove if I was on the coast for no other reason than to visit here. My new favorite Mexican restaurant and probably top 5 restaurant I’ve visited overall or just outside of it.

Fabulous Mexican restaurant with delicious food, cheap prices, and fast friendly service. Decor is over the top Day of the Dead extravagant Mexican. Fish tacos were wonderful. Staff is friendly and efficient. Very fun and atmospheric place with great food.

If I could sell my left arm for the chance to eat here again, I would. Absolute best tacos, margaritas, service (1000/10) and atmosphere in Forest Grove (or maybe all of Oregon). Go there, you won’t regret it.

Best option for Mexican food in Forest Grove. Try the chorizo Super Burrito, it’s huge and delicious. The salsa is very unique, delicious and unlike any other I’ve tried. The cabeza tacos are also very good and not usually on most restaurants menus. The steak Super nachos are a very huge portion and plenty for 2 people. The bean and cheese burritos are also very large. The margaritas are good, but pretty expensive when getting take out.

We walked in and immediately I was excited because THIS IS AUTHENTIC Mexican food. The smell, sight, and sound all matched! Up front you’ve got booths for sitting and eating privately with your group. The back (where you order!) is set up cafeteria style so solo diners can get their food, eat it, and get back to work quickly! This place does it right! We ordered off the big full color menu board (it’s bigger in real life!!),and proceeded to settle into the closest open booth. Within moments of settling in, we’ve got chips and salsa… Drinks were closely followed! Let’s start with chips and salsa… The chips were clearly freshly fried as they still had the faintest of sizzle on them, the warm oil, and the obvious smell of fresh fried tortillas. Huge bonus points!! However, some chips were not totally fried and they were still a little chewy so too many chips are being fried at once… Cut it back a little bit. Also our chips didn’t seem to have any salt! The salsa… Perfection. Chunky enough, liquid enough, spice enough…quantity not enough! It was sooooo good! There’s a spice in there that kicks it up a notch… A little extra cumin? Whatever, it works! The margaritas arrived. They look typical Mexican restaurant margarita. One swizzle and a sip later says otherwise!! First off, I love lime… This wedge in my glass was sooo fresh and juicy. So huge points for GOOD FRESH LIMES!! KEEP THAT UP!!!!! Margaritas not too weak, not so strong you can’t enjoy, they were perfect. Then the food came. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a burrito this big. I didn’t know they made tortillas this big to make burritos this big!!….. It’s big… The picture does not do justice on how BIG it really is. It was delicious. I ate 98% of it (and was still full half way into the next day!!)! HOW…EVER!…. Praises be told, the food has room to improve. Overall the food lacked SALT to enhance supporting flavors. Don’t be afraid of salt! Explore some ancient Abuela recipes and kick it up a notch, the white folk can handle it!! I’ve read passed reviews and see it’s changed ownership fairly recently, so I hope they listen to their customers. Keeps the live music! We had two different sets of entertainment! That was awesome!!! I only got info for the second, but the first guy was pretty great for old style country music. The second set was more mix of contemporary country and modern works BUT they were reworked for their specific vocal range and style and it was awesome! Jordan was super friendly around the floor AND can sing and Lydia had the voice of an Angel (I’m an Atheist/Satanist so that a major compliment). I can’t wait to eat here again! Also, don’t put up a “kiss the cook” sign if you can’t actually kiss the cook… Cuz he’s hot too

We ate everything quickly! This was our third time here.. we just found this gem on Main Street since moving here this past year and have already become regulars. Between the environment and the people who take the time to get to know you; this place really welcomes you to sit stay a while and truly embrace the Mexican culture. Thank you Taqueria Corona!!
