I was excited to see one where I’m about to move in Tyler. It wasn’t like in Shreveport! But it’s waaaaaaay better than the one in Longview!!!! Wasn’t bad just not as good. It was 30mins b4 closing too. I just got off wk and hadnt eaten all day. I’ll try to go earlier next time. Guy with dreads was nice. Oh and my rolls were fresh. I hate when they not.

The chicken was equivalent to Church’s. Although tasty, very greasy. The Cajun Rice was horrendous. It was a bowl of grease that was soupy. The corn grits were very good.

I have NEVER, EVER, EVER had better chicken in my LIFE!!! This place is GREAT! They have a small menu and you can tell every dish’s recipe was carefully thought out and honed. The chicken isn’t that huge, steroids laden chiken you’ll see (and hate to taste) everywhere else. KFC used to be great but they’ve completely missed the mark for years. This is THE chicken place!!!!! They’re the only ones who have kept this kind of quality. GO HERE!!!

I havent had Southern Classic in over 10 years since I was living in Shreveport. Here visiting Tyler and was excited that there was one here. I figured the place would be busy as it always was. We didnt wait too long for our food and it was hot and fresh.

Saw workers with no hair nets then I hat half way to my house and I find two hair strand in my food j don’t understand why they don’t where hair nets but that is nasty

The chicken was okay but the gravy on the potato’s was terrible and I thought the roll might be made inhouse as expensive as it was, it wasn’t though. The tea was grainy and gross. Not worth $8 for a KIDS MEAL.

Im originally from Louisiana, I drove 80 miles from Dallas thinking the Tyler location would taste great like the Louisiana locations, WRONG! Chicken taste nothing like the other locations, chicken was bland, cajun rice was hard. Yall need to call the manager at the Louisiana locations and copy they recipe
