The first time I tried this place was takeout and the Snow Onion Chicken was soggy after 20 minutes of driving home; however it still tasted flavorful. We came back this past Friday after 6pm to dine in so we could try the fried chicken freshly cooked. We ordered the Whole Garlic Soy Chicken, Cheese Monster Fries, and extra Snow Onion Sauce on the side. The small restaurant was half full. You order food by scanning the QR code on the table with your phone. They have touch-screen computers at the door that you can use to order as well. A robot comes out to deliver your food. Don’t forget the complimentary plastic gloves on the bottom tray of the robot if you want to eat without dirtying your hands. The food looked good! The Garlic Soy Chicken was a bit on the spicy side. The meat was so tender it just falls off the bone. The Cheese Monster Fries were really delicious; I would come back just for these fries. The fries were coated with cream cheese powder, not crispy but more on the soft side, and very cheesy. The Snow Onion Sauce tasted creamy and on point; great for dipping the Garlic Soy Chicken into to neutralize the spiciness. With the exception of a waitress that comes to clean and set up your table, it’s all pretty self-service from there; you refill your own water and get your own takeout boxes. This is a very casual dressed place with Korean music playing in the background.

Where do I begin?? Chicken, this good should be a sin! The best chicken hands down is Korean fried chicken. I ordered regular tenders for my boys, the highly recommended soy garlic for myself, and waffle fries. Everything was delicious. I got the half chicken, and every piece was juicy. I committed gluttony that day because I couldn’t get enough. I’m already plotting to go back again very soon to try their other flavors. Oh, and if you dine in, a robot brings out your food which was really cool. 10 out of 10, highly recommend!

I arrived 15 minutes after it opened and they were packed and for good reason. I ordered the garlic soy drumsticks, truffle fries. The chicken was delicious and juicy. The staff was friendly and there was a robot that brought your food to the table. I enjoyed it so much that I ordered more to go. I will be coming back and recommending this place.

Wow. What delicious chicken. Very Krispy and juicy. The coleslaw was equally great. The cheesy fries were great. There are very few tables available for the amount of people there. So, I took it home.

Great first experience with Korean chicken. The tenders were delicious, perfectly breaded and seasoned. Good intro for a less adventurous guy like me. Any place with multiple types of french fries is instant 5 stars. Loved the truffle waffle fries and the cheese monster. Just a bit expensive to get both for two people since the portions are pretty big. Recommend!

I’ve gotten take out 3 times because it’s always packed. Today I sat down with friends so they can experience the robot servers. Each and every time the food has been consistently good. I have experience with the Gochujang so I know the heat that’s coming. Make sure you have towels because you will sweat.

I’ve been to Choongman twice and both times were great. I won’t lie, it’s a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Quality and flavor. I got wings, drumsticks, waffle fries, cheese monster fries and some Soju. The first time I went it was slow but the last time I went it was packed. So packed that they added outdoor seating. The Garlic Spicy is my favorite flavor so I would recommend that one. The Lemon Spring Onion was close to Lemon Pepper so I liked that one too. The cheese monster fries were gross, it’s just too cheesy with a smoky flavor but the waffle fries were perfect. They should give more fries though because the amount of fries are kinda small in relation to the chicken. I will definitely come back and continue to explore the menu.
