We always take a trip to Submarina and take it to the beach when we visit San Diego. Pickup order. Got there on time but had to wait for about 6 people in line to finish up. I think our sandwiches were already ready. Grabbed them and left. Had asked for dressing on the side and when we pulled everything out they weren’t in there. So sad. It makes this sandwich. They have the best dressing. Also asked for banana peppers. Maybe they have pepperonchinis? I can’t remember. But nothing on there, and didn’t get asked. First time we’ve picked up vs. ordering ahead. So…will have to be more careful next time. I won’t judge to hard on this first miss. We love Submarina.

Gross and the tuna that they use is not the tuna from all the other franchise stores it’s disgusting and then when I went to try to return it, they answered the phone and then I called back. No one answered the phone. The lady told me all I’m gonna have to talk to my manager. Why would you need to talk to your manager if I’m bringing your product back then when I called from my phone number they refuse to answer the phone I called from another number and she answered, you’re going to go have a sandwich. Please take your business elsewhere horrible customer service in disgusting

One of my neighbors recommended that I try the cali sandwich, but I love pepper so I tried the pepper cali and it was fantastic! My server was Daisy and she was super pleasant. One of my favorite parts of the sandwich was the bread. Some bread is tough, but this bread was nice and soft even though I got it toasted. All of the ingredients were fresh and tasted fantastic!

Very friendly staff and quick service. Ingredients were fresh and my family and I enjoyed our sandwiches. My personal favorite is the Cali on squaw, I enjoy it with avocado and extra sprouts.

Roast beef dip was tasteless and au jus tasted bad. Roasted chicken with avocado was not programmed in the register so we got charged extra. After arguing with us they finally gave a refund. Drinks paid for only to find out after when we went to fill them that they had no ice. The staff (two ladies) didn’t appear to really know what they were doing. Needless to say, my first experience will probably be my last.
