My husband, sister and I ate here for the first time last night, 3-12-23, and the food was phenomenal! The atmosphere was great, our waiter was amazing, the bartender made a delicious whiskey sour and we had a wonderful time. I have not one complaint about my experience and we will definitely return. 5 stars all the way!

We are a youth baseball team from Chicago in town for a week long tournament. We needed some food in between games and JR Neighbors was recommended. We showed up with 30+ people and told them we had 1 hour to eat and leave to get back to the fields. To use a baseball term, they “knocked it out of the park!” The food came out fast, right, and delicious! Special shout out to Christian our server, who may be the best server in Kentucky!

Out of state visitor, we ate at an outside patio table, the food was excellent! Especially the fried green tomatoes! Ended up ordering a 2nd plate for the table. The dirty tots were also amazing! If ever in the state again this place is a must stop for us!

We met relatives for lunch here. It was a pleasant surprise. The food was delicious. The server was the best. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. The world needs more of her. It is a two hour drive from Nashville, IN, and Nashville, TN. It has a large bar and TVs for you sports fans. Something for everyone. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

We visited J. R. Neighbors yesterday for the first time, our first impression was it was genuinely nice, but we have to say the menu didn’t have a lot to choose from. There was a nice bar, plenty of comfortable seating and an outdoor patio. We will be posting a full review with more photos on our Facebook page.

We had burgers. They were delicious. But after a long week, we were really there for the drinks and they delivered. You have to try The Elizabeth which is a smoked old fashion. Our 2nd one didn’t smell so smokey. I think the bartender threw it together really quickly. But the backyard mule was another yummy drink. Oh and the servers were amazing . Try the banana pudding. You can thank me later.

My husband & I stopped in just as they opened and we’re not disappointed. We tried the deviled eggs appetizer – they were good. I had a smash burger with mac & cheese. He (who also has Alpha Gal) tried the “Notta” burger and seasoned fries. I enjoyed his fries more than my mac – but loved my burger. He says his was tasty and he left full (which is rare). Our server, Cirra, was excellent. She made sure his allergies were known and took great care of us. Also – if you like sweet tea, theirs is wonderful! When we go back, I’m trying a salad.

What a gem this place is! They have a small menu and dedicate themselves to doing everything on the menu right. When our plates came out, it was obvious that care and attention to detail went into our meal. The atmosphere is like a pub. It is not loud and definitely family friendly. The burgers they make, along with the truffle fries are just off the charts amazing.
