I’ve tried probably 15 different sushi restaurants on the North Shore (sushi is my favorite) and NONE of them even half compare to Nguyen’s. There is simply NOT another place better than this probably on the eastern coast. You may wait longer than a typical Resturant and you will certainly not think it’s cheap but it’s exactly what you pay for… extremely fresh sushi – delicious – and creative yummy maki rolls plus it’s all handcrafted for you right there fresh (this the longer wait but well worth it). I cannot recommend this place enough, I’ve been at least 30 times. There is nothing on earth that beats the SCALLOP TEMPURA roll with bacon on top…. must try!!! I’ve read some of the other reviews that give this place lower stars, I don’t get it. These people must have no idea what good sushi is. OTHER THINGS ON MENU: also very very good, just not cheap. The dessert menu is even to die for, I recommend the tempura cheesecake with ginger ice cream. This place is a life changing experience.

took them 1 hour to get our sushi . they didn’t even say sorry. they have priority on pick ups orders, then on ppl that already sitting inside. wanted to get a good time with my friends but spent to much time waiting for the order. sushi was ok,, you can tell that they were busy and made them on the way.

Great customer service fantastic pricing good quality food Sushi is the best in the area by far IN LOVE with there soups Rice dishes Noodles galore. The chef will engage and educate you as well as the wait staff I have tried almost every dish on there menu. There is not one thing you will not want. Take out is great I prefer to pick up my own. Never a mistake they are very attentive to please one on one here. A great atmosphere really good clientele. Frequent here. They serve fantastic drinks and Beers . Plenty of free parking can have A great experience all around. Pricing is VERY reasonable ONE of the cleanest establishments on the North shore of Boston folks I engage with are not just locals some come from as far as 20 miles away. This is a great take . So tell them the Mustache sent you. GREAT FOOD…

I celebrated my nomination yesterday in this great restaurant. I am glad to say that we enjoyed a awesome evening and the place was certainly the reason for the strong event. The waiters contributed in a pleasant way, the cooking was delicious and my friends were very joyful. We shall absolutely visit again for more events. Thank you very much.

The sushi here is excellent. A very nice selection of rolls covering most everyone’s taste. They look terrific and taste even better. We had originally stopped in to try the vietnamese dishes but the selection wasn’t that extensive and the rolls sounded so good that we tried those instead. We’ve been back a number of times and never have tried the Vietnamese menu – we’ll get to it one of these days. Overall a great place with prices that are average for the menu type.

Ordered food for pick -up three weeks in a row, one day per week. What can I tell you? The quality and quantity of food is declining, yesterday I’ve got ice cold pho and half of the portion of noodles, compare to last week. What’s wrong with you, guys? We all still trying to support local businesses as much as we can, many people lost their jobs – why are you cutting corners? Why the portion size is half of what it use to be? This is not the time to lower your standards and provide sub-par quality food to your good customers. Our big thanks to the guy who packs the food up front ( and the extra star goes to him) – a really nice fellow with superior customer service skills.

The addition of Pad Thai to their menu was a successful add and a tasty dish. There are a few vegetarian options and even vegetable sushi. The atmosphere is simple and clean. It’s a nice neighborhood restaurant. Prices are a bit higher than other Vietnamese Restaurants. Overall I enjoy dining here. Open for dinner only, during the week. Weekend hours include lunch & dinner.
