In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

In the Bricktown area and we decided to stop by and get some hot Chicken. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food we got and they had Coke Zero on fountain! I got the medium spice level and it was good. The service was good and the bathrooms were clean.

Moist on the inside and flavorful on the outside. My first time here so took a chance on the hotness as I’ve been to other ‘hot chicken’ spots and seems they all range differently on the Scoville scale. Bravely I ordered Extra Hot as I typically like and can handle hotness but wow the flavors were full as it was almost too hot for me but the side of fries & pickles helped me tame the heat. After I finished it I was happy with my selection but for a moment wasn’t sure. Friendly staff serving up freshly ordered meals!

It lives up to the hype. We visited late in the evening on a weekend and it was very busy but so worth it. Chicken is extra crispy, fried to perfection. My husband got the hottest tenders and they made him sign a waiver. He said it was delicious and not for people who can’t handle the heat! Their sandwich was also good. Even though it was busy and packed, the staff were really ontop of everything and the restaurant was clean. Definitely a must try in okc

I heard all the hype and wasn’t able to go to their Nashville location as the line was a mile long. So I had to stop here on my visit to OKC. The lady at the counter was extremely friendly and helped with my order. The guy who brought me my food was also friendly and recommended me to add honey which they have in packets. It was extremely good, I thought the kale slaw was kinda bland but I finished it. But it’s a great location, good food, and the service was outstanding!!

This place is hella good. I got the extra hot slider (sandwich only) and loved it. It’s as juicy as Chick Fil A and the flavor is great. Perfectly salted and crispy. If you’re not great with spices, maybe just try the hot. The extra hot is spicier than tabasco. There’s plenty of seating inside.

First time visiting Dave’s Hot Chicken. Nice decor, friendly staff. Was a line but not really a long wait. Food ready quickly. I am on a new way of eating so the menu selection was hard for me but doable. I would have loved to try the slider. I ordered the single tender(light mild), it came with pickle slices and a slice of white bread(the bread I did not eat). The light mild was good, I could have stepped up a degree. My husband ordered the two slider meal. I tasted the fries they were excellent(I cheated and had a few). He was happy with his choice. He had the mild and agreed he could step up a degree too. Nice place. Will come back and recommend the place. Good location for Bricktown adventurers .

We always enjoy our food we drive from Tulsa and took my kids this time they loved the chicken! The oldest doesn’t really like chicken so when she taste this she fell in love we will be back soon!!!
