We came here during comic con. If a place can immediately seat a party of 5, at 6:30pm on a Saturday during comic con, there might be a reason why.

The best atmosphere for San Diego comic cons you get to watch all of the awesome cosplayers & people walk down the street.

Live music every night! I would return for a glass of wine and to enjoy the music, however, the food was subpar to me. The “truffle” parmesan fries really felt like regular fries sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. The filet mignon kabobs were very inconsistently with part being completely charred and the other half being nearly raw. The bread for the bruschetta was charred as well and left an awful taste in my mouth. Our server was not great and made the overall experience a little painful.

Very nice atmosphere with live music. The customer service was excellent, didn’t have to ask for refills or anything. The food that was prepared was very freshly prepared and well plated. The experience is something you will remember when you are reminiscing about your time in the GasLamp Quarter.

Terrible experience, wouldn’t make any accommodations; treated us badly, mandatory gratuity and restraunt charges, overpriced for what tastes like off brand olive garden. Without seasoning, and don’t ask for any dressings or you’ll he looked down on

When we made our reservations, they didn’t bother to mention that at 5pm the dining room wouldn’t be open. Upon arrival we were offered either a sidewalk table or a seat at the bar. We took the sidewalk table. This is the only place on 5th street that doesn’t have umbrellas and during our meal debris from a tree kept falling on our table. The atmosphere might be okay, depending on what you are looking for. We had hoped for an elegant dinner and what we received was a lousy meal surrounded by people who need a bath. At one point someone walked up with a dog and a member of the wait staff actually petted the dog before resuming to serve customers.

The service and food were absolutely phenomenal. (If you’re a fan of Brussels sprouts, do yourself a favor and order them here.) The staff very kindly accommodated our large party (we called earlier in the day to make reservations) and took good care of us. Everyone in our party complimented the ambiance as well. I would absolutely come back here again.

I had my birthday party and invited my friends. The food was great and we had so much fun. Entertainment was good and excellent service. The singer sang me happy birthday. Highly recommend for a next event. Definitely a recurring event.
