Nice location off trail. Arrived at 8:15 for food as their profile says they serve until 9. They shut the kitchen down early because it was “slow” so we weren’t able to eat, there were about 15 people in the bar at this time. I was then served a 5 month expired bottle of beer.

Just stopped in for a drink and snack. We really liked the atmosphere here; sports bar-like, neat, clean. Nicely decorated. High top and low top tables. Very attentive and happy bartender. We ordered cheesy garlic bread which was 3 pieces of the frozen Texas toast. A bit disappointed with the small size/quality/price. Apps can be like that though. Kiddie cocktail was quite large. Didn’t have a meal so we can’t comment on other food. We’d definitely stop back if in the area!

Food was amazing. Don’t remember what my burger was called but it had mac and cheese on it, delicious! Husband had a California cheeseburger he said was good as well. Their drinks were on point and you could actually taste the alcohol in it, unlike some places. Reasonable prices on everything. And right off the trail for easy access

Good drinks, ok food, ok service. We were there on a Tuesday in early October, only a few people there. Sat at the bar. The burger was seriously overcooked. Shame on me for assuming it would be cooked medium and also for not sending it back, I should have. The bartender didn’t cime back to check though, she was eating dinner… The mac and cheese was gloppy, either not made correctly or had been sitting way too long. On the plus side, the fried chicken was excellent and the place was very clean and well kept. Given the location, will probably go back since they’re the only option in the area.

We were a party of 11. Several of us ordered the fresh Lake Superior white fish fishfry. The fish may have been fresh at one time but it was not recently. The fish, besides being fishy, was dry and the breading was so hard it was difficult to cut, obviously overcooked. The chicken tenders had twice as much breading as chicken. Our waitress was very pleasant. However, when I told her she just said “sorry”. We had planned on going there more than once, but this dinner took care of that.
