The atmosphere iwas just amazing. Beautiful local custom design woodwork. The restaurant is located right on the lake for the best views. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The menu had a wonderful variety of selections I include fish, sandwiches and salads for everyone’s tastes . Our meals were fresh and the pasta was killer. The bar had a nice selection of drinks. The staff was very attentive and helpful. Everyone in our party had fun. We definitely will be back!

We had a fantastic meal and experience at Carmelina’s last Saturday evening. Pleased to be able to make a reservation for 12, we arrived by water, plenty of dockage. One of the best on-water dining experiences ever! Food was quick and delicious…. great kid’s meals , steaks, and pasta. Ravioli was really the hit. Service was outstanding, can’t wait to boat back to Carmelina’s.

Went with a party of 6. The place looked great and are service was amazing. The waitress said she had only worked there for 3 days but she was awesome. Food was terrible however. Two people got the fettuccine Alfredo and it was inedible. I didn’t think something so easy could taste so bad. And another person got the seafood ravioli which had the same sauce as the fettuccine even though it said a white wine sauce on the menu. Pizza was good though. And like I said our waitress was amazing. We sent back the alfredo and got something else and they didn’t charge for the alfredo or the replacement. Food was just terrible

Short staff. I don’t have good things to say about the service. Over priced .. especially because of the service. Decor, view and the atmosphere was nice. I am going to make contact with the manager after I calm down. Couldn’t get water… Didn’t get bread with the salad… People that came in after us were being served before we got to order our main course. None of this sits well with me. My money spends as good as anyone elses. I just want adequate service.

I have been a weekend regular at this place all summer but, sadly, tonight was the final straw. The beginning of the summer I raved about the friendly staff and beautiful atmosphere to anyone who would listen, but after my third bad experience I’m sorry to say the dissapointment is too much.

The food was way overpriced and tasted terrible. The service was horrible even though place was empty other than one other couple when we arrived. The food presentation was nothing like the pictures on the website. My husband asked for a box to put his leftover pizza in and the waitress brought out a small white styrofoam to go box and (not ideal to carry 6 slices of pizza home in). We were extremely disappointed.

The view is picturesque. However, the food quality is about what one would expect from an “Italian bistro” in the middle of nowhere in the ozarks. The ribeye pasta was amateurish. Overcooked steak, too much sauce. I definitely expect much better when I pay $19 for a plate of pasta. If I was the owner I would drop all pretentiousness and stick to serving such low-brow fare as “bbq pork nachos” which can be found amongst their appetizers.

Sorry to say that Carmelita’s can’t provide a good service. We’ve heard this before but wanted to see for ourselves. We wanted to try it tonight , showed up in our boat with plenty of room to park, went in and saw that there were plenty of tables, and was turned away. Didn’t even take our names, just gave us their card to call on a DIFFERENT night! We’re one disappointed and hungry family.
