Just moved to Roanoke. Had been looking for good Chinese since the move. Was walking around downtown Roanoke and came across hibachi guys and gave it a try. It is SO good. Portions are huge. Most entrees come in three sizes and the small size gives enough food both myself and my boyfriend to take home. The meat is very flavorful especially the beef.

The lady acted like she had something better to do than cook and the guy working in there with her look like he jus got out of sing sing … tattoo all over….no gloves and both were eating while cooking and when I saw them they quickly tried to stop eating lol……it’s p.f chang’s heated in a plug in wok at best ……D+ at best

My husband and I stayed in Roanoke overnight on our way to Hilton Head. We walked around downtown and checked out the farmers market. Decided to check out the City Market. I chose to order our lunch from here after looking at the many other options. The food was so fresh and delicious. We shared coconut shrimp and chicken teriyaki with fried rice. The coconut shrimp was the best I have ever eaten. The yum yum sauce was awesome and the portions were very generous! We will definitely eat here again when we return to Roanoke! Thank you for the great service and amazing food

I was not satisfied. I got the hibachi roll which was chopped cabbage in an egg roll, I got the yum yum slaw, Philly rolls and crab Rangoon. Everything was so greasy… and the only thing I did enjoy was the crab Rangoon.

Absolutely delicious! I think that some of the negative reviews here are due to people maybe having gone to a different restaurant, because, at this restaurant, all the food is amazing and perfect. I will definitely be back, and I can’t believe that I have not been here since they opened! Yum!

I ordered a giant hibachi and paid about $30. While the food has good flavor and decent quality I was expecting the 3 tiny containers to at least be fully filled with said dish but instead its about 1/3 rice with the dish on top along with a HUGE container of rice on the side but I’m not sure who would eat that much rice when there is more than enough used as filler in the main containers already. Also my general chicken’s breading was really mushy and off-putting, but again the flavor was there. In conclusion it’s decent but not worth the price by a long shot. Also whoever is responding to the reviews here comes across very childish, unprofessional and lacking ownership. Everyone has bad days and everyone is going to have a stronger opinion when they pay a premium for ‘higher quality food’ (as was mentioned by the owner) and things lack

Omg! What a great “hidden” gem! I didn’t know that this restaurant existed downtown.. but I’m glad I do.. now. The food is phenomenal. My daughter and I shared the big plate, which is definitely enough to split. We also had the dumplings, which are to die for! The food has great flavor and you can tell it is fresh. The owner is wonderful and made sure we enjoyed ourselves, even though we were the only ones dining in. Even though they were closed by the time we were finished, she still allowed us to make an order to go.. and with a smile on her face! She said the restaurant doesn’t start putting things away until they know the customers are 100% happy! If only other restaurants were like that!!! Our family loves to support local, so we will definitely be making more stops in! Thank you for your hospitality and delicious food!
