It’s been a really long time since I’ve stopped in but nothing has changed. Fantastic food, fantastic owners. Places like this never go out of style. The portions are smaller than years ago but in the current environment that totally makes sense. 37 years they have been serving great tasting food. I’ll totally plan to stop by again soon!

I was excited to try this place from all the rave reviews. The best way I can sum it up is that it peaked long ago. I went during lunch and there was one other person in there. I ordered the godfather, expecting something similar to a loaded Italian. The lady working was a delight, and I appreciated all the vintage decor. The sandwich however tasted like it was assembled 12-24 hours prior, and left to sit in its own juices. The meats and condiments were good, but the bread was bad, bad enough to ruin a sandwich. Too small and dense to really enjoy the sandwich since I have to worry about everything sliding out and around. The sandwich came with a pickle and chips which was nice.

To go perfection neatly packaged in styrofoam, but their cold sandwiches are equally as flavorful. They also provide service with a big warm smile. If you’re nearby and don’t stop by, you’ll miss an easy opportunity to add a little more happiness to your life.

The staff is wonderful, and the place has a cool vibe, but the Deli cheese steak is an absolute abomination. It is drenched in the “marinara” which was like a runny red vinegar and the steak was chewy. The most disappointing sandwich I’ve ever had.

I hate to say, the sandwiches here were a huge disappointment. It didn’t help that I waited 45 minutes for 2 cold turkey sandwiches. My mistake for coming in during the lunch rush. The lady at the counter was very nice and apologetic. She’s the reason for 2 stars instead of 1.

So, to start: the fact that the owner took time out of his day to harass and belittle a customer who had a bad experience over reviews for everyone to see makes me cringe. I’d been trying to eat here for over 9 months. They still said open on google but I went there 3 times to a closed door. thought that they were closed for good. Shows a lot about the communication skills of the owner. Doesn’t update google and talks aggressively (whether they were defending their business or not) to a customer online. I finally got a chance to go in to see if the review was correct and was dismayed to get a soggy sub. Unimpressed. Hopefully just an off day.

I was so disappointed that my plate was empty! Lol one of the best hot pastrami subs I’ve had. Didn’t expect the Italian pasta salad that came with it. Yes I would recommend this place for a hearty and filling lunch!

Went in on a Saturday afternoon and was happy to eat some tasty food. Service was kind, food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The person there gave us to free sides of pasta salad. I got the italian combo sandwich. It was good with plenty of cold cuts and dressing the bread was not my favorite. My partner got the hot capicola and that was killer. Food price is a little steep, but I would come back.
