New name, it’s now called, The Gator Grill. Enjoyed my supper with friends out back, near water! Bit odd, that they were out of shrimp at 6 pm on Saturday . Friendly and attentive staff . We all had appetizers, and shared with each other. Good size portions and reasonable prices! I would recommend, and look forward to eating here again.

My boyfriend and I went to Castaways to have a beer after lunch. We met the bartender, Wallace, who hooked us right away with his colorful and bubbly and exceptional personality. We stayed for a few more rounds as Wallace was so friendly and engaging. We wish we had lunch there but next time! We will drive down from Myrtle Beach more often. Great place, great prices (saw the menu) very reasonable drinks and an awesome view! Many thanks!

Best place to go to and have a beer or wine or mixed drinks, it is on the water. Great food. Has two bars, one inside and one outside on the water. There are games, there are pool tables. Excellent to go to and have a great time with friends. I love the view on the outside bar so beautiful, and cozy right on the water. And the employees are friendly. This is a people friendly bar. Unlike the (“Big Tuna”) Do not go there! Worse place ever! Bad food bad service and bad staff. Go to Cast aways where is a people friendly place.

2 stars for the main course food. The appetizers were great. And the bartender/server was awesome. But the decor was dangerous. Don’t sit in the stools. Loose and unstable. Felt like you were going to fall.
