I am so happy Dancing Ganesha exists in Manhattan! My sister and I love Indian food and we loved this place. Wish they had more options on their menu, but I was told their lunch buffet offers more- and I cant wait to try it. The staff was super friendly and made sure we had a pleasant experience. We ordered the Shahi Korma w/ chicken, Garlic Parmesan Naan, a side order of the Papadum and the Gulab Jamun for dessert, it was amazingggg 🙂

Very quiet at 2 PM on Friday . Went for the buffet and loved it! The samosas were delicious and I loved that they had two different rice varieties as well as plenty of options for vegetarian or meat plates. I loved the beet hala for dessert, too! The butter chicken was yummy and I appreciated the fresh kale salad on the buffet. The waiters were really attentive, getting us more napkins when we needed them, refilling the forks when they were out, and bringing us fresh naan when the naan ran out on the buffet. I loved that they had high chairs for my daughter and appreciated the military discount! The only complaint I have is that they didn’t have a baby changing station in the bathroom.

My girlfriend, her dad and myself went here to use a Groupon she’d purchased. We arrived for the lunch buffet. We ordered the buffet like we always do. When presented with the bill, we were told we can’t use the Groupon on the lunch buffet. Reading the fine print, there is no restriction. It says Sunday – Thursday. We went on Sunday. There is no restriction on what menu items can be used. The manager gave us a discount, but wouldn’t let us use the Groupon. Two weeks later, they haven’t contacted Groupon to yet the fine print annotated to reflect what they tell you in the store. False advertising, don’t use the Groupon, you’ll just waste your time and money.

The atmosphere was relaxing and inviting. We had the lunch buffet, and enjoyed the variety of entrees, sides, and desserts. Everything on the buffet was flavorful, but mildly spiced so my children also enjoyed the food. The staff was very friendly and the food was very reasonably priced. We are already planning to have our next date night out there.

The food for the buffet was a bit bland. But kid friendly, which is what we went for so that wasn’t too bad. Far too much sauce instead of protein in the dishes. The incense overpowered the smell of the food. The decor was pretty. The wait staff was pleasant. I would really like to give this place a chance for dinner for their regular menu before writing it off as a place to visit.

The service was amazing. The waiter took his time to explain all the items on the menu. The food came out reasonably quick and tasted amazing. This is a great spot to bring family or meet with friends. One of my favorite places to eat in Manhattan.

My husband and I previously ate at dancing ganesha and it was average. However, with the new management and chefs, we had a delicious meal today! The butter chicken and lamb shank were made to PERFECTION. The manager was so sweet. Definitely visiting again soon!

New French-American dining. Upscale feel with reasonable prices. Service was nice with a great, involved owner. Had the Pulled Pork Crepe which was delicious. Only critique was smallish portions, but I’m also a large American male.

This place is cool. Buy unfortunately….. The meat is referred to regrettably as “protein” and the food is decidedly american Indian rather than true Indian. This place is nice bit is to contemporary. The staff also, professional as they are, seem like they want you to hurry.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Manhattan! Such a hidden gem. You definitely have to try the Gobi Manchurian and my favorite entree is the Butter Chicken! Be careful if you order “medium” spice because, I like my food spicy, but it really caught me off guard! It was still delicious. You can’t go without the naan bread, either.
