NIK’s opened in, 2011. We are a locally owned and operated family business. From the very beginning, we have been committed to serving a very high quality product in an atmosphere that is friendly to every occasion. Marinara, meat sauce and alfredo sauces are made fresh right here every day. We use roma tomatoes imported from the San Marzen Valley in Italy for our marinara, meat sauce and pizza sauce. Our Alfredo sauce is made from heavy cream with plenty of parmesan cheese and it’s not cooked until you order it! We make our signature salad dressings, batter our own chicken parmesan, eggplant and calamari, and our parmesan spinach dip is our own recipe from scratch.

I’ve always enjoyed the huge chicken Parmesan at Nick’s as the breading is crunchy and delicious. As others have reviewed they have changed their ordering process. We were greeted by a hostess who brought us bread and a carafe of water. There is a QR code at your table to order and pay for your food and drinks. I found it effective. Nik’s is closed on Monday and Tuesday and I hope their changes allow them to stay open.

Recommended by Captain Austin (really his name). My friends were trying to proposition Kelly the Bartender after the 1st Lemon Drop (one doesn’t even really drink), so maybe you should get that. Whatever I had for dinner had 0 leftovers, only one person had carryout, but she had more than 1 Lemon Drop. The Keylime cheesecake, yep. You might wanna move in after ALL of that and the Vodka sauce (I heard). There were 7 of us 5 different dishes and 2 variations of the repeats, only complaint was the self ordering.

We had been here a few times prior to the pandemic and enjoyed it. We gave them two chances post pandemic and no improvement. I can see that they are having staffing issues and will avoid criticizing that part of the experience, due to the poor quality we did not finish anything we ordered. Italian food it is not. More like frozen food that someone who has never had Italian food who imagines what Italian food tastes like invented? Only positive is the good attitude of the servers who are aware of the substandard food quality and the nicely decorated space. Other than that it’s in a sad state. They used to make the best prime rib on the weekends alas, no more.

Wow. Just wow! Came with a group and everyone was raving on what we got. From the service to food to the atmosphere. It was superb to say the least. Best clam chowder I’ve ever had! Filet was cooked to perfection. We shared almost all the desserts in the menu and loved them all. Will definitely be back!
