DISAPPOINTING!!! This use to be one of our favorite restaurants. However, after this last visit, this will probably be the last time we eat here.

Had a lunch on this Cottonwood Kitchen restaurant inside the Tesuque Casino in Santa Fe. The location is good and accessible being away from the downtown yet a quick nice scenic drive for under 10 minutes. Next door is the Santa Fe Opera House. The ambiance is superb with nice views outside. Food is excellent and staff are friendly. Highly recommended!

Went there for my birthday and sat in the patio, which I prefer because the inside of the restaurant is too loud with all the casino noises. The views are beautiful! The service was good and prompt, I had the 2 lbs of crab for $25 (available only on Fridays) and it was delicious, and truly a bargain for the price. We had the “meat candy” as an appetizer which was delicious pork which melted in your mouth with some sweet sauce. Will go back for sure!

The best kept secret in town. My husband and I as well as other family and friends have eaten at many 4-5 star restaurants in Santa Fe and this should be credited as being one of the best restaurants in the area. The food never disappoints; the chicken is beyond delicious, the prime rib has always been prepared perfectly and the staff is always well informed about the menu items and are friendly.

This was our first time at Cottonwood Kitchen. I think we have to give them a 2nd chance, because it was not the best experience. We had lunch on Sunday. They had live music: a dixie jazz band that was great!! The good: I ordered the seafood rolled enchiladas, which were really good and filled with lots of crab and shrimp. So far so good. The bad: My wife ordered the steak frittes (sliced pieces of steak with potato wedges on the side). The steak tasted good, but it was cold when the server brought it to our table. We asked for it to be reheated. She came back promptly with the steak pieces now warm, but they failed to realize that the original order was for the steak to be cooked medium, and upon reheating the steaks they went from medium to very well done, to the point that they were dry. My wife unfortunately couldn’t eat it and enjoy a good piece of meat. Two failures here: the kitchen should have realized that they just overcooked a very good piece of medium steak; and the server should have also noticed that the original order called for medium, not well done, and should have taken it back to the kitchen for a new fresh order. I think we will give them a 2nd chance, but they better perform next time!

Looks like a really good restaurant the food when i had it was really good. The prices seem reasonable, always have some kimd of special going on which is another good thing . Because i feel more comfortable if there was a little more light. The open atmosphere makes a big difference. Its like your not alone but how the tables are you are alone, so itsvreal nice.

Tasty food, good prices. On RV trip passing through, spent the night in the Tesuque Casino parking lot, and decided to try their restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of food and decent prices. We were a worried it might be a little smoky, but nothing noticeable in the restaurant, after short walk through the slightly smoky casino.

NM DONUT KWEEN THE FOODIE
I’m not much for casinos but when my dad wants to throw some money their way who am I to complain? Instead, of wasting my hard earned money on slots I I seek out the eateries, looking for donuts! I stopped at the hostess stand at Cottonwood Kitchen to glance at the menu. All the noms sounded good so I decided to step in, have a seat near the huge picture windows and explore the menu since I have plenty of time on my hands! Wow! That’s a rarity in my busy life!

Great service, nice selection and atmosphere. BBQ bacon burger was cooked to perfection and fries, crisp and just the right amount. Chicken enchiladas were flavorful and rice and beans some of the best in New Mexico.
