This food was absolutely disgusting, it was cold and taste like it’s been sitting there all day. The one guy who even worked there ate somewhere else after making my food I mean you can eat where you want but dayyyyyummmmm sir. I just hope they do better could’ve microwave my plate a little before handing it off. I just don’t understand why the wait is so long for watery soggy mac & cheese, “canned” street corn, and the brisket was tender but didn’t have a lick of seasoning.

I understand this location just opened, but compared to the other locations I expected better. the food was bland and cold. I got the 2 meat platter with chicken and pulled pork. the pulled pork was like a paste and the chicken was soaking wet and wasn’t seasoned. the baked beans were straight out of a can and the corn bread was dry and bland. i’m hopeful that they get better as time goes on.

1 star is generous. I got the 2 meat platter. Waited about 30ish minutes. Got pulled pork and “keilbasa”, mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. The pulled pork was straight mush, edible but not good, the “kielbasa” was just regular sausage and it was bland and gross. The mashed potatoes were ice cold. And the Mac and cheese tasted like butter and mush. I get they just opened but this all seems like frozen food and nothing fresh. Hospitals make better food. It was a big waste of money. It is way over priced for something you can cook better yourself at home. Don’t waste your time or money on this food.

One star is BEYOND generous!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!! Awful… DO NOT RECOMMEND. Visited last night and the food was ICE COLD! Extremely pricey… cold… small portions! The people next to us and behind us overheard us complaining to one another about the quality of our food and BOTH parties agreed that theirs were also cold and tasted gross!!! Save your money and STAY FAR, Far away!!! It was nasty!!!

Ok not bbq like I’m used to sausage is like a rock brisket is ok swings are good fried pickles we’re playijg hockey with. Wasted $75.00 on dried out old bbq food. Gave them benefit since day 2 they were open. In my option it wasn’t worth $75.00 maybe 20 for the two bags I just got.

Was there the first weekend it opened. I had the pulled chicken sandwich and my husband had the briskett sandwich and both were very good and the rolls were perfect. The coleslaw is very good as well!

Honestly, it was subpar. My food was cold, like straight out of the fridge cold. The baked beans were bush’s, lol, i saw the can after I paid. I tried to eat it but i fed it to the trash. Hopefully they can improve, at least temperature wise.

I love Slatington market. My wife and I go there every week. We usually eat at takkii ramen. We chose uncle Jays this time and definitely don’t regret it. LOVED the brisket, Mac and cheese was also great. I can’t wait to try some of their other items.
