I’ve passed this location for years and finally tried it out today. We have been missing out. The food was delicious. We had the fried catfish, chicken fried chicken, collard greens, cabbage, corn, candy yams, corn bread, and peach cobbler. Total price $38. Everything was delicious, seasoned well, and not too salty. The service was prompt and the food came out in about 15 minutes freshly cooked. I will be back again to try other items.

Food arrived warm, almost cold. Greens were the only good thing. Mac & cheese is swimming in so much liquid, couldn’t even see the noodles – it was bad regardless. Chicken is not fried enough, there’s little crunch, but the skin is flimsy. Corn bread is okay but cold. The banana pudding was awful, all of the cookies are past stale, they have the consistency of playdoh, it also tastes spoiled. Very disappointed, it was about $20, I will not be buying food from here again.

I’ve tried this place twice. I love to support Black owned business and I really wanted to like it but I just don’t. 1st time I tried banana pudding and Salmon croquettes and they were too soft and pudding was definitely a box with whip cream. Not the best, mostly whipoed cream. Next i tried tetrazzini, broc n cheese casserole, greens, green beans, and cornbread. Broc n cheese rice was dry, cornbread burnt. It all lacked flavor, canned veggies. Also portion size does not match prices. I only really liked the Kool aide. I tried but I won’t be back.

This was my first time at Casserole Soul Cafe. Service was wonderful. I tried the meatloaf, cabbage, Mac n cheese. The food was good (not hot) but good. Needed more sauce on the meatloaf and the portion of the sides can be twice the amount and it would be just right. I will give it another try…

First time visit. I had the fried pork chops with cabbage, mashed potatoes and mac & cheese. My date had the smothered pork steak with greens, mashed potatoes and mac & cheese. The greens and the cabbage were cold, the pork steak was mostly fat. The masked potatoes and gravy were out of a box and not tasty at all. My fried pork chops were solid but it didn’t make up for the other issues with the meal. I’m sure they’ll figure it out hopefully sooner than later. I may give them a 2nd chance I a few months.

Ok! First of all.. When you 1st walk in to this warm atmosphere the front of this place it give a feel of warmth and welcoming atmosphere. The place is gorgeous an the decoration is awesome. The music relaxes you and make you wanna sing along with it. The staff was awesome and inviting. I’m glad I had dinner there and the food was great an it was brought to us in a timely manner

I finally tried Casserole Soul on Beltline. It took my wife and I far too long to get there. Great food. Friendly service. Good music. We had catfish and Salmon croquettes. Can’t wait to try the pork chops. Mac and cheese was great. Cornbread good. Wife loved the candied yams. Don’t sleep in the casseroles either. One of my sides was the Cajun casserole. I would be happy if that was my meal. And you can do that too. Don’t wait to long to eat here. Let’s support a great local business.

I did four stars because this was my first visit and absolutely didn’t know they added so much salt on the fries, but I would try again. I had chicken tenders and fries overall, a little overpriced for the food portions

Great atmosphere, good food. I had the pork spare ribs, tender & seasoned well; the candied yams were good not overly sweet just needed a little salt to bring out the flavor; cabbage was good. But the cornbread was very good and the kool-aid was DELICIOUS. Will definitely go again, family friendly prices and nice waitstaff.

I’ve tried this place 3 times and for 1 to be named casserole soul all the casseroles are and very tart… Fried salmon was very very dry!!! The chicken fried chicken is good…. Other than that piece of chicken fried chicken nothing I’ve gotten from here is just good, mediocre at best The wait is unbelievable when the food always warm/cold…. I supported tried to like but this a hard no for me!!!
