What a wonderful place! The food was great and the service was awesome. We got to watch a pirate ship battle and hear the cannons. Every inch of the walls were cover with memorabilia, and there were plenty of photo opportunities provided. We simply couldn’t stop talking about the neat things everywhere. Definitely a MUST SEE when visiting Port Isabel Texas!

We were a party of four and were seated immediately on a busy Friday during lunchtime. The staff was awesome! Very friendly hostess and waiter. The bussing staff was also very sweet and took our empty plates right away. The food was hit or miss. The stuffed shrimp, stuffed mushrooms, rice pilaf, and filet of fish were amazing! The biscuits were a little too greasy for my taste (honey and butter topping), and the fish tacos were just okay. The butterfly fried shrimp were a little small for this restaurant being on the bay. I will say the staff made up for the short comings. They were down to earth, quick to get what you asked for and very caring! I would bring extended family here for a meal. I’d rather come during a weekday when it’s less busy though. The views from the window were great too!!

Great place to get a bite to eat after a long day at the beach!!! Food was good and the service was even better. We got burgers, fish tacos, and the kids Pasta Alfredo. While I do personally prefer Blackbeard’s more (but mainly because of their delicious onion rings) this place ranks up there and is a great alternative if the wait at Blackbeard’s is ridiculously long.

It was pretty awesome. Our shrimp was cooked to perfection. It did not taste like old frying grease and you could taste the fresh shrimp. I ate the Red Snapper Rockefeller it was a great and creamy. Would recommend for sure. You have to stop and check it out with your family and friends for sure if you have active kids there is many places for a cute photo opportunity.

The experience wasn’t good. The waiter barely understood English. He took the order but then brought something else. Free scones appetizer is stale and taste old. Chicken fajitas was very poor. Tacos salad was good. The worst was the fried shrimp, they smelled like chlorine when you open it, we had to return that dish.

Omg! Where do I begin. The walk along the pier was so beautiful and that’s what tourists like me love to see. The sunset was amazing and taking pictures there was a picture perfect night along with an Awesome and amazing friend who’s birthday we were celebrating. We listen to live music. Then we went inside to get a bit to eat. The atmosphere was great. Our server Roberto was so wonderful and very attentive and a delight to talk too. The food was delicious and so were our drinks the” Tsunami” was awesome too. I will definitely go back again when I’m in town. Thank you for a pleasurable night.

Service and atmosphere was great. Lots of cool things to see and take pics. The food was eatable. Definitely do not come here for the food if you’re starving and want something full of flavor. It’s bland, too greasy and super fried. The alcohol beverages we surprisingly delicious. I would maybe come back for drinks and appetizers only.
