Came here months ago and hadn’t been back. Decided to try it again. Sat in front and was served quickly. We were looking for an inexpensive lunch menu and found there wasn’t one. We ordered a regular full-priced meal since that’s all there was. The food was delicious, the service was very good and the place is very nice. It’s just not a place I’d return for a quick lunch. Nothing wrong with the restaurant at all…it’s just that when we’re in the mood for Mexican at lunch we’re looking for something less expensive. Maybe we’ll return for dinner some evening but it won’t be one of our lunch go-to’s.

Very delicious and fast! You must try the ‘quesorizo’ (white queso dip with chorizo).

Love love love Senor Tacos. The food is so fresh! The service was great. Our waitress was exceptionally friendly. I got the potato flautas and they were amazing! Hubby got the steak chimi & it was awesome. Always a great experience at Senor Tacos. Highly recommend but be prepared to wait for a table. Definitely worth the wait!

I ordered chicken and shrimp fajitas and there was hardly any meat at all, (and about 2lbs of peppers and onions). They also forgot my tortilla shells, so I was still hungry after I ate what little bit of rice, beans and meat there was. They dont even give you chips and salsa with your entre either! Freakin cheapskates! My money will never go to them again.Wasted $20

Picked up $50 worth of asada tacos and got them home. The meat was so dry we couldn’t even swallow it. Called and they said they would replace them. Took the rest up there and then they tell us they have no more asada and can only give us hamburger. So we were downgraded meats and then when we got home they even shorted us a couple tacos. The hamburger tacos weren’t any better, they had No filling in them, they didn’t even grate the cheese just threw big chunks of it on. They didn’t apologize and didn’t seem to care the quality was poor. Chips were extremely greasy and salsa was bland and had really big chunks of tomatoes. I’ll never go back.

TLDR = The food is okay. In my opinion there are better places for “Authentic Mexican” food in town.

This restaurant was suggested to us by a Purdue staff member as a good place to get more of an authentic Mexican food, and we were far from disappointed. We live about 2 hours from Lafayette, but were in town for my son’s summer camp at the university, and I would seriously consider making a day trip to Lafayette just so we can grab a bite to eat here! The food was amazing and the amount you receive for the price is very well worth it. I ordered a burrito without meat (I’m a vegetarian) and not only was is one of the best burritos I’ve ever had, it was HUGE! We even tried cactus while we were there! Our server was fantastic and so friendly – she took great care of us. Will absolutely return the next time we’re in the Lafayette area!

Fantastic food and staff. Their homemade red and green salsas are nice and spicy if you like that. Mix them with the queso for some nice tortilla chip dip The burritos are large enough for two, or plan on taking one half of it home for lunch tomorrow. Many options for tacos- lengua, al pastor, asada, and chorizo are my favs. The pork belly would be better if it was cooked crispy instead of the mushy meat that is served (hint hint)
