Ordered the hot dog and hamburger combo like I usually get from downtown Zacks. It was good but the hot dog has this after taste that I didn’t like. Not sure what’s different but it’s definitely not the same. The sweet tea wasn’t really sweet enough and kinda weak. Our first waitress Hispanic lady, got our drink order but i didn’t like her because she was so loud and also took the people’s drink order beside us yelling from across the table over my head, Not professional at all but the second waitress Rena was very nice and attentive.

I stopped in this morning around 9:15 to have some sausage and eggs while we were running our errands. The atmosphere was friendly and the restaurant was nice since they’ve remodeled it. I had the sausage platter with eggs over well and toast with home fries. The home fries were smaller than I thought they would be, more like home fry bites. The toast was a little bit hard, but was okay. It took me about 1 hour to eat which I thought was long. The girl took my order within 5 minutes and then it was a 30-minute wait for my order to be served. Other than that, I would return, but Waffle House definitely has a hand up on Zach’s. I didn’t take time to take a picture of my meal, so pardon the empty plates. At least that should tell you that the meal was good. Also, my bill was around $10 but when I went to check out they gave me a discount for paying cash and the meal cost me less than $5.

I LOVE Zack’s chili and hot sauce, despite this my family and I stopped going to the downtown burlington location because the service was always so terrible. I’m happy to report we had excellent food AND service today! A manager even came by to check on us a few times and got my husband a refill. I will definitely be coming back to this location. Thank yall!

First time visiting ,was excited to get a nostalgic BLT sandwich. Yall need to learn to cook bacon it’s completely burnt and dry. My baby boys kids meal had a hotdog that was also in my humble opinion under a heat lamp too long. My older son did get a good chicken sandwich but I don’t think we will be back.

Never really been a fan of Zacks hotdogs but wanted to try the newest location to see if it changed my mind. The hotdogs were good the slaw was dry, but I’ve had better. The chili cheese fries were ok. I paid with my debit card in the drive-thru and I’m sure they ran it as a credit and charged me $.42 for doing so. I am not a fan of restaurants charging when paying with a card. This is not posted on their website nor did I see it on the drive-thru menu, because I looked before I went. So if you decide you want to go to one of their locations just make sure you take cash, because they will charge you to pay for it.

Nice little diner, whole interior and exterior have been redone. Same food as the original zacks but higher quality imo. Service is still very fast and reasonable prices. Some new items on the menu; chicken wings, salads and some great milkshakes. Line to pay gets very long as this location gets more foot traffic in the summer I really hope they explore being able to pay on the same ipad the server is taking your order at. Two visits so far, Friday at lunch rush and a Monday which was also busy but not quite as bad. Food was great, fresh bread for the hotdogs and wings were nice and crispy. Glad to see the Zacks name has not been ruined with new ownership, dare I say it’s cleaner/better than the old location.

I came here with my large family on a Saturday night at peak dinner time. I had no problems getting a table for all of us. The service was great and fast. Food was just as tasty as the other locations. This is a great place to go if your on a budget but still want to go out to eat at a clean sit down restaurant. I will be back.

Zack’s is a local eatery that is known for their hot dogs. They serve much more but I go there for the hot dogs so that is what this review is about. I have been eating at Zack’s since the early 1970’s and this is the 3rd location I have eaten at. The hot dogs are grilled and you choose your toppings. I get mustard, chili, onions then add mustard and Zack’s hot sauce at the table. I love these hot dogs, as do my wife and kids. We live in Greensboro and sometimes go to Burlington just to get Zack’s.
