We found Great Wall Chinese on a road trip from Florida to Colorado. We got sweet and sour pork with steamed vegetables, shrimp fried rice, triple delight with some sides. Really good Chinese food and not greasy at all. Didn’t expect to find this wee gem! Only thing I would have changed is having more than just broccoli as vegetables, but by no way does that change my thoughts.

To our surprise, there is a decent Chinese restaurant in the middle of Kansas. Not the best I have ever had but it definitely is one of the best finds during all the road trips we have taken. Generous portion and reasonably priced too. Unlike the typical American Chinese food which tend to be greasy, way too salty and covered in brown sauce, the two dishes we ordered were well-cooked with flavors. If you are traveling thru Kansas via hwy 70, stop by and give them a try!

The fried rice had little flavor and was extremely mushy. There were no veggies except I found 4-6 peas in the fried rice. Also it was probably what I ordered but I ordered the mushroom shrimp and it was all onions with a few shrimp and mushrooms. The dumplings were good. The drink machine was really dirty.

Worse experience I’ve ever had, probably will not go back because the owner said the reason the food wasn’t fresh was because of the long line in drive thru, since when is drive through more important, then people that come in and take time out of their day to eat the food! Maybe fresh next time, or I’ll never return.
