Dawn the manager, at the Collinsville Illinois location, is disgustingly RUDE! I’ve never been disrespected so blatantly by anyone. My food was cold and poor quality. I called ahead for a remake. I explained why to the associate on the phone politely understanding either way. My food was 100% untouched w/ the receipt. The girl was friendly and put my order in. When I showed up the manager was snarky and abrasive. She wanted to lecture me on why they don’t do remakes and that she talked to her employee that this was a one time deal. I never eat here. This is a blue moon move to eat here today. I left with half of my paid for order. She didn’t want to give me fresh fruit. The fruit they gave me before was the cantaloupe peel not the flesh and withered grapes. The pie had been sitting out for 2 hours and she refused to get me a fresh slice. Threw the orange juice away had just had the remade hot food. Her attitude is disgusting. WORST experience ever. Their food is trash.

Quiet and home like diner. Friendly and fast service. Food and service is top quality. Super clean and lots of cute merchandise to shop while waiting to be seated or waiting to be checked out. Kids get the cutiest menu with crayons and have good options for kids to choose from. Prices are reasonable for portions.

We were heading back home and passed a ob Evans I asked the wife has she ever eaten at one. She had not, further down the road we found one and stopped in. I got a burger with hash browns egg and bacon on it with fries it was delicious but the wife’s roast beef sandwich was Soo good. Needless to say she was impressed the restaurant was clean and tidy the staff was friendly and attentive, will probably be stopping at more Bob Evans down the road great experience.

Food came out hot and fresh! We all ordered breakfast which included eggs, bacon,, sausage and pancakes and it was really good. Our waitress was on her 6th day in a roll of working, she did a great job!!! I hadn’t been in a while as the food was just ok, but glad I got the opportunity to make it back today!!

Cowboy fries were runny, no taste, and the “cast iron” it was served in was cool to touch, food cooled quickly. Banana bread did not taste fresh, was cold and soggy. Server had to much work, she got us out water & took order. Someone else brought the food. Saw her again when she dropped off the check. Told her about the Cowboy fries which weren’t eaten and She replied “Tell them about it. ” Checked out and was asked “How was everything?” I explained again about the runny tasteless fries and she replied “Sorry bout that”. Completely unimpressed.

Stopped in for a later lunch (2pm). We ordered a Dang Hot Chicken Dinner, a Rise & Shine Burger and an appetizer – appetizer doesn’t matter since we never got it. The chicken dinner came out looking good but the side of green beans cool and not warm at least, the burger was slapped together haphazardly and grease filled sliding all over the plate. Not the worse dining experience but definitely not in a hurry to come back.

Oh these guys were good. Food that wasn’t all burgers and steaks (but the had good ones of those too). We went several times for breakfast. I’d go again if they were in my state. The serving staff were the best of any chain we went to in our route 66 travels. I highly recommend them.

We didn’t get all of our food. Some of the food was completely wrong, and the fish was inedible. First off we ordered biscuits and gravy. We didn’t get any biscuits at all they sent a large cup of BROWN gravy that wasn’t sealed up and spilled onto everything in the bottom of the bag. The fish was burned and I was given a very tiny portion of broccoli, the mash potatoes were good and did have breakfast gravy on them, I didn’t get the soup at all. Chicken sandwich was ok accept it had tomatoes on it, the person this was ordered for is allergic to tomatoes which leads me to the salad that not only had tomatoes on it but also had chunks of chicken. No wildfire ranch or honey mustard sauce was with the order

Great atmosphere and the staff were great. Shout-out to the guy covering extra positions. He was our waiter and helped with kitchen and the register. He deserves a raise! Food was okay. The honey butter was bit too much, it overpowered then chicken to where you could barely taste it. Corn was little dry and lacked butter and salt. All in all a good experience.
