This Botana grill doesn’t compare to the original at all. Server was nice. Food took awhile to come out , plates brought out one by one. Meat burned , cold tortillas. Owner / Manager just sitting while her staff struggled. This botana grill is dragging the name of the OG in Brownsville through the dirt. Very disappointing. Changing locations won’t fix the issues this place has.

Greeted on entry. Smiling faces. Great service. Delicious food. What more do you need?! Popped in for breakfast tacos on the run and they were so quick with it. And everything was so good. Will be back again to try more of the menu.

I can’t recommend this place enough the food is perfectly cooked and homestyle it’s hard to find a place that serves these simple classics, you’d be surprised how many places can mess them up, La Botana #2 gets it right every single time. Unfortunately a whining out loud child ruined my opportunity to have a meal here today. The best I could try was a Mexican beer. Better luck next time. I guess the bright side the beer was ice cold.
