Waffle House is exactly what you would expect from a restaurant of it’s type. What you may not expect is that the crew there is quite friendly and may even offer you a free waffle if they happen to have made too many. The food is tasty, the prices are low, and you can be on your way without feeling like you over ate.

Normally we have a fine experience. Today our service was not good after we received our food. The waitress never came back to the table to check on us or refill coffee. There were only two other tables with customers while we were there, so they weren’t swamped. Also there were a ton of flies that we had to swat away throughout the meal.

Wow! I am blown away by the swift service we received at lunchtime today. Our server anticipated our needs as far as refills, children’s cup, jelly, and more. She was extremely polite and engaged in conversation nicely. The food was fabulous and cooked in a very timely manner. The tables and supplies were clean. Other workers continued to fill salt and pepper, syrup, and dishes if they weren’t actively serving. The hard work and dedication to this restaurant is evident! There was even a young boy who came up to a server and said “remember me?” And the server spouted off he had a haircut and last time he sat in another booth. Very impressed.

Great meal and service last night at this location. I ordered the pork chop meal, 2 chops, 2 scrambled eggs, lightly cooked hasbrowns, smothered, with wheat toast. It was cooked perfectly. The pork chops aren’t on the menu but they’re available for order and they’re delicious!!

The BEST staff! I’m not sure what their names are, but there’s two women at this waffle house that ALWAYS go above and beyond to make sure everyone there is satisfied. I see them every single time I come in, and they’re always on top of it. I’ve never waited more than 10 minutes for my food, even when they’re slammed. This is the best waffle house I’ve ever been to & I will gladly return

Amazing! We are traveling back to south bend Indiana from our beautiful trip to red river gorge Kentucky. We had to search for this one tho, GPS took us to 2 that were closed down or tore down in Lexington, but it was all worth it as expected! Family environment and amazing food!

I like it less and less, I have noticed that they do not have the same number of staff as before and perhaps this is due to the poor quality of service. people are nice but they get swamped with so many tasks, and I know it because I see it. 1 single person prepares so many things. The first detail I had a year and a half ago was that they gave me coffee in a dirty cup since it had lipstick on it and that day I didn’t have lipstick on, I just went to try my coffee and I realized it. shortly after this they began to take a long time to serve the food, the time before my last visit the bread of my sandwich was almost burnt, this last time my coffee was cold once they served us the food, they never returned to serve us or asking if we needed anything, one of my children had to go to the counter to ask for more food than we wanted. Too bad this place is going down in quality.

Waffle House is the kind of place you go to when you randomly wake up at 3 AM and want food. The food is greasy and bad for you, but it’s always delicious. The places are always kind of dirty, but it’s like a Chinese restaurant. The more shadey, the better.
