The seafood was fresh and delicious. Ordered the fried shrimp platter. What I really liked was the very light breading on the shrimp. Golden brown sweet shrimp and perfectly presented. For an entree we enjoyed a basket of hushpuppies. Large and golden brown. Our friends ordered the seafood platter which was absolutely huge. Everything was perfect. The waitress was attentive stopping by often to see if we needed refills, more butter, etc. The fried oysters were also lightly battered and cooked to perfection. My baked potato was huge and a large dab of sour cream with butter were included. Sure wish we lived closer as this restaurant is a 5 star for a great local seafood choice for the area. Thank you!

Nice little find in Waynesville, leaving Maggie Valley. Clean, simple, nice staff, good food. Will go back when we go back to Maggie Valley. We had the flounder, fries, slaw, hush puppies.

Food was delicious but only warm, not hot. Great hushpuppies! Flounder was a bit heavy on the batter but fried shrimp was perfection. Server did her best but it was her first day. She was very helpful and accurate with our order. On first entering, the bar/dining area was LOUD with conversation but the greeter seated us in a quieter area on an enclosed porch. Nice! Would recommend this place.

This was our first visit here. Everyone was so friendly. Our waitress was awesome!! Shrimp and Catfish was excellent!! You get a generous amount with enough to take home. We will definitely visit again!!

Will absolutely not be going back. We wanted to try something new after leaving a doctors appointment in Canton. This place came recommended to us by a good friend. After walking in through a downpour with my wife’s service dog, we were to we would have to eat outside on the patio which was closed up due to the thunderstorm going through. When we asked to eat inside, the hostess had to ask a server. After a brief discussion, we were seated inside but got a lot of uneasy looks from staff. We decided to leave to avoid any further issues…

Not good. Waitress tried. Manager kind of copped an attitude when my lady and I told her our issues with the food. Waitress asked me if I wanted more unsweet tea and then brought me sweet tea. Second worst experience of our vacation.

It’s a new restaurant so we decided to try it out I was very impressed. The food was top notch service impeccable. Only downside was a little bit noisy but that’s okay. Portions were extremely large especially for a seafood restaurant.

Had the seafood platter, 32.00 and this was the worst food I have ever tried to eat. All the food was cold and looked to be over cooked. The flounder was tough, oysters and scallops were terrible, no flavor, cold and spongy. Even the French fries were cold. Four people in our party and everyone had the same experience. Our total bill was 105.00 and I feel as though It was money wasted. I am so sorry to post a review like this and I was so disappointed with Low Tide.
