The chicken here is always tender and full of flavor. I love their sauces! The sides are also great, and give good healthy alternatives. I had the sweet potatoes and a mixed green salad the last time I went. Service was prompt and attentive. Would definitely recommend!

We very much enjoyed eating at Nando’s today. We have heard a lot about Nando’s watching UK comedy shows and really wanted to try it. We decided to take a trip out to Springfield to try the chicken and we were not disappointed! Our meals were great and the flavor was unique and very tasty. We were getting takeout so we both got chicken bowls for easier eating. A side of brussel sprouts was a real treat, and after trying their custard pastries I actually had to go back in and get a second order because they were so good!

Fantastic location at Springfield Mall. Expansive menu with so much to choose from. Their outdoor dining area was perfect. Their service was great. We ordered the Peri-Peri chicken tender bowl (lemon & herb) with flame grilled corn on the cob & a Sangria Rose & the chicken thighs with macho mashed peas, Redskin mashed potatoes, baked & grilled garlic bread & a spiked pink lemonade.

Food is consistently at a good quality, which is hard to find at chains! Love that the staff is tentative, checks in to see how the food is – that’s why we consistently come back. Eating at a place where they care about the customers.

Edited this review as my previous post was out of sheer frustration for yet another disappointing carryout experience at the Springfield location. In general, I love Nando’s – but this location is very problematic. I can’t count the times they’ve screwed up my take out order as if it’s business as usual. Tonight was no different – the 1/4 chicken was cold, they forgot one of our sides, and the side of Portuguese rice was cold (and frankly looked like yesterday’s leftovers – very dry), and so scant (more than 1/2 empty) as if someone had eaten from the box. Originally, I gave Nando’s two stars because they apologized for the error and “said” they credited me the difference. THEY NEVER DID. Nonetheless, the experience was ruined (once again).

I wish I could give this place a better review. Me and my girlfriend came in last night after the pride festival in the mall. We chose Nandos cause it was her first time there and she had never tried it. We walked in and got greeted, and asked for a table for 2. We were then taken to a booth that was made for an entire family because the waitress wasn’t sure where to sit, us even though the place was empty. She gave us the menu and we started browsing it. Fast forward, 30 minutes pass and no one has come to take our order or even check up on us. It was already late at night and I was just ready to eat some dinner and go home. My girlfriend noticed that one of the other costumers (that came in 20 min after us) were attended to immediately. I personally don’t understand why but I knew it wasn’t right so me and my girlfriend decided to leave. It was a terrible experience. I have never had to walk out of a restaurant before. But it felt like me and my girlfriend were just tossed to the side and forgotten about.

This Nando’s was fantastic, well located, wonderful layout and the food was amazing. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Loads of parking and easy access from the highways. We will be back next time we are in the area. Hope they bring Nando’s to New York soon!
