This sandwich shop is towards the back of the food court of Saigon Mall. They’re usually really busy on weekends, I can’t say how business is on weekdays since I’ve never been on a weekday. There always seems to be a line of people waiting to order or pick up their sandwich orders. Also, they place has 2 fronts/stores/booths, one is more sandwiches and one is for drinks. I posted pics for both places.

The banh mi đặc biệt had so much fat in the pork…only 2 pieces of ham and 2 pieces of sliced pork and almost all fatty texture. The bánh mì didn’t taste buttered and wasn’t good either. I haven’t eaten here in a while and seems like quality has gone downhill.

Hair in packaging! We normally eat at Banh Mi #1, but now I question their sanitation practices. We bought a packaged food from Banh Mi #1. Today, my wife and I noticed a hair in the packaging. We haven’t opened the wrapping since we bought it, and now we won’t have a chance to eat it. Trashed.

Should really read reviews before coming to these places. They must be the same owner as the Che Thach Thao shop. Haven’t been to this area since covid & now I think I should’ve just stayed away. The quality of the sandwiches have gone way down. The #1 sandwich that’s supposed to have everything barely has anything. Skimping out on what made this place worth stopping in was a bad call. Go back to what you used to do best. Provide sandwiches worth waiting & paying for. Should’ve suspected something wasn’t up to par when there wasn’t a wait to order.

(as of 11/25/2020): We ordered the banh mi dac biet as well as the banh mi thit nuong satay, and are EXTREMELY Happy and satisfied with both the quantity, quality (flavors) as well as the price of the sandwiches. Both of these are great but I give the edge to the Thit Nuong Satay, never had it before in Cali, OR, Sea, NV, TX, IL until we stopped by Dallas/TX for this. High High High praises and quality!! Great food, great people. We will be back! Thanks!! (sorry no single, solo pix of the sandwich alone, the one noted below is of the Thit Nuong w/ food from other shops as well).

I ordered 2 combination banh mi for take out. I arrived home and was disappointed to see the lack of meat and vegetables they gave. Not enough meat, and 1 ziploc bag of veggies was supposed to be enough for 2 sandwiches…. I would not recommend this place nor would I give it another chance

This is by far my favorite Banhmi place in the area. Pretty cheap, the lady is always soo nice and they always have this deal if you by 5 you can get 1 free. I usualy buy the 5 and take it for lunch or share with my family. I love their grilled pork one. You just gotta buy it, go home and bake it a little bit so that the bread is a bit crispy and then add the veggies and eat it with some chips. Best sandwhich ever.
