Vietnamese cuisine is one of the most fascinating parts of the country’s culture. It is endlessly interesting, dynamic and surprising. The flavors and recipes vary by region and it’s common to find what is typically considered northern or southern inspired Vietnamese cuisine here in the states. Pho and spring rolls may be the most well-known dishes but there is so much more to Vietnamese food than you might expect.
We’re excited to be one of the few restaurants in San Diego to be introducing many signature dishes from Da Nang,located in the central region of Vietnam. We specialize in Pho, Bun Bo Hue (Spicy Beef Noodle Soup) and Mi Quang (Frog & Chicken Yellow Noodle Soup). We are located on Convoy street

Great Vietnamese food. The fish sauce is very tasty a bit sweet but great flavor. Enjoyed the pork and shrimp rice plate and the coconut coffee blended they had was fantastic was almost like ice cream but not overwhelmingly sweet. Great set up and good parking spots.

First time eating here and the food was very good. The Banh Beo (8 steamed savory rice cakes) and the egg rolls were yummy. Fried chicken rice was good and the portion was reasonable. Bun Bo Hue (Hue Noodle soup) was good but the broth could have been more flavorful and more meat is needed. I’ve had better Bun Bo Hue in San Diego. C1 Com tam is not that good (the meat is dry/thin). Overall, we like this place. We didn’t have any issues finding parking but maybe because it was during weekdays.

This place was pretty decent. The service was great. Decently priced. The egg rolls were super delicious. I got the filet mignon Pho. It was good tasting at the most. 4/5 for that one. The meat wasn’t as tasty but the broth was delicious. My only issue was that the soup was lukewarm. The egg rolls came out burning hot, but the pho wasn’t so. This is a god place for some quick pho for lunch.

This place is the closest to Vietnam I have found. I fell in love with the salt coffee there, and now here. I have been here many times since arriving home and have brought many guests to try the magic of Da Nang Corner. We have all enjoyed it thoroughly. This place is the best. And their vegetarian bahn mi sandwich is amazing too.

I’ve been to a lot of Vietnamese restaurants and this one stood out due to its freshness and somewhat unique dishes (for San Diego). Typically I would have to drive to Santa Ana for a good bowl of Mi Quang. Their Bun Bo Hue and egg rolls were delicious as well. Everything was fresh, including the vegetables. The biggest thing that stood out about the soups were their lightness. It didn’t feel heavy and too flavorful. It felt more light like a homemade bowl of soup. Presentation of the dishes was on point as well. Would definitely come back!

Came here with a friend on Sunday for lunch. The service is nice. I got Mi quang, my friend got bun bo Hue. The food are good but not 100% authentic. The place looks clean, and the decoration reminds the mother land Vietnam!

Been eating Vietnamese food my whole life, this is as close to authentic Vietnamese food there is. Highly recommend their roasted pork belly vermicelli with fermented fish sauce, very delicious with distinct authentic flavor from middle Vietnam. If you want to explore delicious Vietnamese cuisine other than pho and spring rolls, this is the place to go
