Sat outside during lunch, great location. Service was outstanding, very helpful and such friendly staff with quick turn around time as drinks were immediately delivered and food took less than 10 mins from ordering. I had the surf club burger and she had the chicken tacos. Burger was disappointingly without much of a taste at all and seemed that it was just a regular burger patty. The fries were drenched in oil and had a fishy taste to them, possibly by being fried on same oil(?). Chicken tacos also had little taste to it. They are missing that special touch to make the dishes stand out. Would definitely recommend this place for drinks as it was fun but I’d skip it as a lunch/dinner spot.

Extremely slow service and inappropriate towards people of color. We waited for 15 min just to see someone and when they did show up, we were asked to shift to a different table for the convenience of their servers. While this is generally fine and understandable, when some other people showed up just a few minutes later, they were seated at the initial table we were sitting at. Of course they were white and nobody moved them. Nothing special about the food either. Very disappointing. Do not recommend.

First of all, the one in charge of management should post ample signs that you need to check in at the desk on the far corner. You have a huge outdoor area and there is no way a person coming from the opposite direction knows that you need to see someone to be seated. We stood for a long time for any of your servers to guide us. None of the three servers passing by and giving us an obvious side-eye said anything even after politely asking for attention. Your staff should be humble enough to mention customers that they need to see someone first. Food is decent, but obviously most of the focus is on the bar, which is fine. Things were usual after we were actually seated, just like any other restaurant. Did not spend enough since the visit put me off.

Great outside bar / lounge area in the summer. Its the perfect place to relax , have some food, and a couple of summer drinks. The staff are always friendly here. It’s in a great location in the center of all the tourism.

Food was good and affordable for the area. Tacos aren’t authentic by any means but still good. Chicken sandwich was delicious and so was the pizza. Seating is in the middle of Newport so there’s people walking by and cars going by but it’s still a nice atmosphere somewhat close to the water. Staff was very nice.

8/5/23. Zero stars should be an option. Waited for 20 minutes at our table and no one acknowledged us. Many servers walked by with their heads down. This is unacceptable sorry. The place was empty and there were easily 8-10 working all around us. The blonde hostess in the long black and white striped dress couldn’t care less when we said we were leaving our table. She just shrugged. Hoping the owner sees this and reevaluates the employees. As a business owner myself I think this is valuable information on what happens behind your watch. Take a look at your lowest reviews. They are mostly the same.

Good service and food. My wife had a tuna poke, and I a fried chicken sandwich. The fried chicken was kind of “toasted” and dry inside. Besides that, all good. Maybe I just didn’t take the best choice.
