It was okay – we went on Saturday night, so perhaps a bad idea. The service was incredibly slow, and the ceviche was bad. I am surprised our waitress did not ask us about it since it was full when she took it back. The taco dinner was good from my friend’s remarks, and I had good steak fajitas. Margaritas were awesome. I would not recommend this place for food but for drinks – yes.

Service was a bit slow. it seemed like the server was new. The food presentation was beautiful, but the food was not hot, and my husband and I ordered the same thing, but his was missing the grilled onion and jalapeño. The server brought it out, and we had to ask for drink refills and Salas. I was disappointed with salsa, not spicy at all. Then we waited a while for the server to pay our bill, although she did apologize when she came back.

Wife & I had a fantastic dinner for Valentines dinner. They had some wonderful musicians playing string instruments and singing. The drinks were unique in presentation and reminded me of another favorite cantina, No Manches in Carpentersville. I got the flaming Burrito but it wasn’t too spicy I would get it again although it was large you should come with an appetite. The atmosphere was very colorful and lots to look at.

We went here recently with friends and had a great time. The service is friendly and very fast and the menu is extensive. My mojito was served in a giant glass (similar to a large beer glass) and had lots of fresh mint. My companions enjoyed their drinks also. I ordered the plate of three shrimp tacos but swapped out one for a rib eye taco. It came with beans and rice. Everything was delicious. My husband loved his chicken fajitas and our friends enjoyed their meals as well. We were entertained by a magician (sorry, I forgot his name) but I believe he is there every Wednesday. He was entertaining and fun and not obtrusive at all. We will definitely come again!

2nd visit – Brought my wife. She loved her enchiladas. However our chips were stale and our queso fundido with chorizo…no bueno. Look at the pic. I have had this at other places and it has never looked like this. However, my steak burrito was really good. Staff was really friendly again.

First time visit and we were totally pleased. The service was great and the food delicious. I ordered a shrimp burrito and every bite had succulent tender shrimp. My husband ordered steak enchiladas cooked just the way we like it, no fat. Kudos to the chef!

The food was great and reasonably priced. Drinks were great as well ( not cheap on the alcohol as many restaurants are). Our waiter was Raffaele and answered any questions we had and was a lot of fun. We will definitely be back and ask for Raffaele. He made the experience very fun and entertaining. In my opinion the best Mexican restaurant around.
