My stomach got the best of me and I strayed from my usual chicken tortilla soup and WOW I’m glad I did. The Thursday special coconut shrimp tacos with hot Mango salsa was delicious. I can’t wait for next Thursday. Made fresh and quickly as always. Staff was friendly as always.

Hello, they should train the staff better and the protein portions should be more generous. We ordered a sweet pork tortilla and they put very little protein in it, just like some enchiladas! one comes to eat and pays for a meal not so that they give me a taste of just a little and I still have to pay

Got the birria beef tacos because I love the ones from Casa De Tamal. These were on the opposite spectrom of good..(they were awful)! Soggy tortilla, sparce fillings, and filled with pickle seeds. So every bight was full of pickle seed crunch. I consider the service bad if you make a taco full of pickle seeds. But my daughter said the burrito was good.

We came during the afternoon. There was a new person working there and he was working the counter. And he was awesome!!! I’ve never seen him there before. He was so polite, cleaned the restaurant, and even asked us how it tasted, and cleaned up our tray. Thank you!! He deserves a raise.

This Cafe Rio location in Magna is so bad with the portion sizes. They are super stingy. i went today, 7/26/23, and they served me so little. Literally 5 leafs of lettuce, and a small portion of red salsa, so i had to tell them to add a little more to complete the full portion of salsa but they ALWAYS end up charging extra for the same exact salsa that you are already suppose to get. Very disappointed.

It seems like Cafe Rio is pushing to decrease costs beyond acceptable. This location especially, went in got a sweet pork burrito extra meat, extra cheese, extra sauce.. This was it… not only is it smaller than most burritos I’ve had from Cafe Rio in the past but the “Enchiladas Style” with extra everything didn’t even cover the top of the burrito.. It’s unacceptable I paid nearly 15$ for a burrito that was maybe as good as a 5$ burrito from Taco Bell..
