The food was good especially the meats. We got the sampler plate and shared it, there was plenty for both of us. All of the meats were delicious. Spent some time talking to the owner he was very friendly.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Got food to go. Pulled pork sandwich was good with slaw and Sweet Baby Ray’s sauce (from my fridge) on it. Bottom bun was very soggy. Potato salad was really weird. Could not tell if it was a secret new recipe or if it was spoiled. Did not eat. Macaroni and cheese consisted of soggy noodles in a watery cheese-colored sauce. Did not eat. Perhaps restaurant is better during peak times. I don’t think I’ll go at 6:30 PM again.

I would bet $100 that fast food joints have as good bbq. I worked at Sunny’s BBQ in KY and it’s a chain with better everything. I honestly think the 5 stars are either friends or something.

I very much enjoyed this restaurant. Do not let looks deceive you. It seems a little sketchy. A bit musty inside, but the food is delicious. I recommend coming here if you are adventurous and like trying new and different things.

The food was almost as cold as the beer! The beer was very cold. The food was pretty much tasteless. Now we know why they were empty. The rub on the chicken was terrible. We were very disappointed. Will never go back!
