I am a bagel snob and I must say that this was a great find, so great I came back again… only wished to have made it for lunch…they offer other breakfast meals that my son had and enjoyed the pancakes were fluffy and great tasting. Staff was nice and polite and helpful. The place was also clean.

I cannot express how absolutely disgusting the chicken tenders are from The Lighthouse Deli. They are gigantic, wet and slimy. It was the type of dish that turns you off to the food item for a very long time, if not indefinitely. Beyond gross.

The Lighthouse Deli is such a wonderful addition to Surf City. Our very first experience was getting a quick lunch for the beach. My Cobb Salad was fresh and amazingly flavorful. The sandwiches and Italian hot dog was equally as good. Our next try was bagels early one morning. To say they get it right is an understatement. Not only were the bagels superb but the coffee was a nice complement to the bagels. The food is amazing. The staff is friendly and attentive. The owner Mike was equally as attentive and beyond friendly. Definitely a worth a trip if you are in Surf City! Good Luck- we will see you next year!

I’ve been here quite a few times and they don’t have a bad thing on the menu! The bagels are homemade and delicious. The pulled pork sandwich is probably the best I’ve ever had. Generous portions, great food, friendly staff and quick service – they’re officially my favorite go-to spot on the island!
