It’s been several weeks since dining at Southside. The reason for that is I feel the food is subpart. Service isn’t the best. Takes forever to get coffee refills in the smallest cups I’ve ever seen. And who heard of cutting up the scrambled eggs to a point where it looks like splintered wood. Waffles that come with fruit topping get hardly any topping. Just not worth it.

Breakfast at 10am the restaurant was comfortably busy. Wait staff friendly, lots of regulars bantering with the waitresses. Servings generous, well prepared. My husband’s pancakes were big, light and fluffy. My eggs, hashbrowns and bacon were good.
