This place reminded me of a diner atmosphere. Not so much the stainless steel railcar idea but more like “the place where the locals eat”. It’s small and there’s not a lot of “ambiance”. The dining area is simple, clean and functional. Having said that, the food is outstanding! Forget the aesthetics and go for the food. (You can’t eat the cliche Asian decor anyway.) The menu is clear and concise but not limiting. The food is exactly what you should expect from pho, fresh and full of flavor! The pricing was within reason and the service was on point. There did not seem to be more than one waiter working but he handled the dining area with precision. At first they did not seem very busy but before long the dining area was nearly full and their take out business seemed strong. I definitely recommend trying them out. We were there for lunch with 3 diners and were in and out in under an hour. I am not sure if their dinner menu differs from the lunch menu but I’ll be finding out.

5 stars for the food. 4 stars for the service. Very authentic, tasty, clean, and almost as good as Vietnamese food in San Jose/Nor Cal. The vermicelli and pho are our favorites. I have concerns about the waiter /owner who is sometimes friendly and sometimes not? We hope he’s happy and stay healthy to operate this gem of a restaurant.

Had a wonderful meal here this evening. We ordered a small beef pho, the spring rolls and wontons. The iced coffee was delicious as well. Food was very good and fresh with friendly and attentive service. Only suggestion would be to have some background music in the dining area to add to your dining room ambiance. It was a nice clean place and I will visit again soon. I recommend this restaurant if you’re in the mood for authentic beef pho.

So happy to have found this very welcoming restaurant. Very fresh and flavor Pho, Spring Rolls and oh so tasty grilled pork chops and rice. House special fried rice is outstanding. Very clean, fresh ingredients, homemade taste. Generous portions at very fair prices. We dine here at least twice a week!

Good location, close to El Jobean & US 41. Restaurant is family operated. It’s clean and organized. Menu is simple, however, very authentic Vietnamese cuisine. My husband and I, we ordered a Phở Tái (rare eye round beef noodle soup) and a spicy beef and pork noodle soup. Both were very delicious, especially, the spicy beef and pork noodles. The broth was perfect taste for me, very authentic. Be careful if you can’t eat too spicy, you can always request for a mild taste (less spicy), I think. My husband gave a thumb up for his Pho. He said the soup was good without too much of cinnamon, very tasty and the beef was tendered.

Visiting from out of town and I was skeptical about Vietnamese food but to my surprise, the Pho was very delicious. The wait for the food was a bit long but my craving was satisfied. I was very impressed. The broth is rich and flavorful. The server was nice and accomodating. He gave me a complimentary coffee since I asked for no onions but there was onions in my soup. No big deal but he made sure I was happy. Definitely coming back the next time I am here.
